Troajan, thanks for posting. Lucky to have your experience on this!

This is the thing with RM at GCAT- sets unrealistic timelines. He misses those timelines. However he still achieves things more quickly than the norm. Funding took 6 months, typically it would be 12-18 months.

With regards production they have 4 plants, plants 3 and 4 are heap leach and HL is commissioned already (just big HL pad to go I think - plant 4)

Plant 1 is the existing plant.
Plant 2 is the new equipment.

My point a it’s not a standing start. Nevertheless 2 months is perhaps optimistic - especially given RMs previous enthusiasm (e precede finance to take 3 months).

Long winded way of saying, I expect you are right and the timelines will now be met.

And that could present a further buying opportunity in the summer. …maybe …. As private investors wail about jam tomorrow.

At some point the dam will break. Perhaps the market needs to see the 2000oz production, maybe RM needs to sell GCAT to institutional investors. Maybe both.

Still can’t find another gold share like this so I’m still in and if the price drops back to below 0.7p I might just be back ‘all in’. The price is nuts. There is only one other share comparable to this (in my opinion) but that’s oil and gas and the price of gold sways me towards gcat more.

Don’t like the SP, but I’m relaxed about GCAT. Last thing they need to do is the 2000oz a month. Everything RM said they would do they have done .. the investment is massively derisked now and they just need to produce the gold as they have said they will. This is the last and final risk and time will tell. Personally I think it seems to be a pretty solid team and I think they will do it. If I didn’t I wouldn’t invest.

Tips & Notes..

due to its a forward guidance delay and covers spending costs.
(FAR has tanked, recovered a bit lately and dropped back on yesterdays news the feasibility study is delayed.)

GCAT - frustrating. However this is why I sold half, the history is that it breaks out, pulls back and resumes the low SP.
The difficulty in that is that the news recently really is transformational, so how does the market react? Well - now we know - a big fat I don’t care. However it can’t stay like this forever. RM will half to start trying to sell the company to the big boys more (institutional investors) he knows this and says he needs to do this more.

This weakness let’s me get back in later. First I’m letting HE1 do its thing then we will see what’s the next best opportunity.

But more meat on the bones of timelines for GCAT

That was it, he was saying the work rate was exceptional. Which was lost in translation as exceptional grades somehow!

My thoughts…

1) Kazakhstan (I think) …. Seems Australian gold miners trade at a premium to everywhere else so will it move!?

2) However, in saying that the SP has seemed volatile in the past so maybe it could easily do 50%, it really is so low.

3) He seemed quite bullish (as they all always do), but I just feel the results will be reasonable.

I think he said assay results first week Jan, I’ll still have funds tied up in HE1 and probably miss the boat but there we go.

88e might be later on in Jan and get ve me a chance to exit HE1 …

I don’t know EST well. However they are at the exploration stage so same as ORR … MCAP is low-ish so maybe it could do the same as ORR on good results. All depends on the assay results.

One thing I watched a recent interview where it was said this year was exceptional, drill results expected in Jan. posters on that board heard ‘exceptional drill results in Jan’. Umm no he did not say that!

I don’t really have much to add it basically exploration, hit and miss, better COS than oil and gas and they have seen gold in the samples. It all depends how good the grade is and the SP does seem to jump a bit so if the right crowd buy in you could do 50% - all ifs and buts, but the SP is so low.

But assuming roughly double the gold and double the FCF (it isn’t but just to make it easy) …. then GGP should be at £65-70 mill MCAP based on our MCAP OR we should be at 1/4 the MCAP of GGP. Oh hit wait - we have a mine and equipment …

Troajan called the bottom, good effort - I bought HE1 instead.

GST are waiting on FCA sandbox approval - whatever that is - but it’s intrinsic to their blockchain business. If/ when they get it the SP could go nuts.

The problem is … when will they get it. And so this occasion the story held me back.

Beneto- it was March, 3 month slip. It’s now H1 so a 6 months slip… I’m not sure jam tomorrow is fair in all honesty. The delays have been explained and are fair and reasonable. I think he makes a rod for his own back being a bit unrealistic with his expectations, however I also think that is why so much has been achieved this year (sets aggressive targets). Each to their own.

I certainly agree on Vim Rutha and on this being a bagger in time.

So warrants expire 31st, also money is to be drawn then. So do we expect the breaks off the SP after the 31st or do we need institutional buying for that?

It is frustrating Pred7, Robbie said himself he needs to be talking more with institutions, that’s his job.

Hopefully with finding out the way he can start to do more on raising visibility and awareness in the new year.

Patience (I’m afraid) is needed, at the same time if the SP is still below 1p in 6months I’ll eat my laptop :)

I don’t have level2 so I may not be seeing what you are talking about yet. SP down 5%, spread is 12%. To me it’s MM’s playing with the spread.

Either way I’m not bothered, SP is mad but one day will reflect the companies true worth.

What’s expectations of the SP reaction to the drilling contact being signed off?

I think you (dia) said last time it dropped? I’d more expect that to be the green light for some investors to buy…
