It’s a 1 week workover of the well so not much time at all.

Velociraptor will not distract from Heron 1, and vice versa.

They haven’t taken any punt …..yet… but yeah wanting to invest more is of course a positive.

I’m just curious to know what the money is for. The current increased production has already bought a few bits an bobs, the CLN earlier this year started the HL expansion.

As JC says, new presentation is imminent so I’m sure that will tell all. If it’s more HL or more capacity for high grade ore? Or both.

Ultimately the headline news is positive:

- we were talking $10mill to get to 24,000oz.
- now just another $5mill cash to double that to 50,000oz

I would say - ‘consortium’ - it’s not a TRX JV then for the Kilimepesa funding.

- need more than $10mill, now $15mill. Why? If $10mill was good enough before?

- is it because the output is to be 50,000oz? So the plan we had before is gone, out the window? Is the processing plant to be more than previously explained? (Although I always thought plant 2 was under utilised…) Could we know more please?

- as someone posted now 13 months of high grade ore. Why did the drilling on the hill not identify this high grade area!? It would have been great to have been mining this in January when OCIM pulled out. Anyway, doesn’t matter, it’s great they have hit it. The rest is history.

I’d quite like a new corporate presentation with the new plan. Last time one was issued was a month before finding was announced…

Could be swampmonster- my memory is shocking. Tbh Tanzania would maybe make more sense as more capex will be needed than Kilimepesa. However, it could still be an option for Kilimepesa.

I do find it curious how much TRX are reposted by GCAT on Twitter. Anyway, time will tell.

I wonder how many other companies have experienced the same problems as MATD.

To come out and make these comments is admitting there were issues that needed addressed. And presumably these issues are seen as being the reason behind the lack of investment in the country.

If I remember correctly there were some posts about how MATD could still get screwed over. I’d be shocked if the government would by shouting about how they are getting their house in order and then screw over one of the companies investing in Mongolia.

The only thing I will say is there is some truth in the posts and some accuracy in reporting what has happened. However the constant posting is off putting.

The last 3 months has shown an increase in the pace and focus on the issue by the central government, MRPAM and MMHI.

I’ve looked in the RNS’s and there is no deadline/timeline given. Personal conjecture by a CEO in marketing interview really shouldn’t be listened to. I also don’t understand how MB is held accountable for the internal politics of a country. Don’t get me wrong, he has his faults but also successes (exploitation licence and now bypassing my local government)

Finally, again this is a project of national importance but we you think that other government ministries will stand in the way? I’d suggest they’ll be instructed to back off.

Well … we don’t know the profit gibberish. Fair point though JC, must be better than $400/oz. I wonder if the Q1 update will hint at the AISC so we know more.

Gibberish, the other half of the calculation in the business case was gold production of 2000oz, and they are maybe getting near to 1000oz (which is decent given the mine expansion hasn’t happened yet) - so yes it need revisited I guess.

Curiouser- there will be time limits. It won’t be sent out and they sit waiting open ended on responses.

There will be a timeframe to raise any objections, my guess a month. This could have been circulated a month ago. We know worst case 3rd April the paperwork was circulated. So it’s getting to the business end now.
