But - again- we really have no idea of the AISC.

Previous number (1250 - or was it 1230?) … was based on lower grade ore but also producing more gold. AISC is not known at the moment.

AISC was more like 1230/1250 - but ultimately it’s going to be different and we have no idea what it is at the lower oz, but higher grade.

Ave grade (mentioned last night by some of the posters) looks less than 4g/t. RM yesterday said 3.2 to 3.5g/t.

Assuming :

- the mean ave grade (3.35g/t)

- Plant availability of 75% (Robbie mentioned this yesterday)

- Previously released AISC of 1250 g/t

- Using the same royalties and taxes

Then the 13 month free cash flow is half this, $4.15mill

Delayed trade from 8.42 (when SP was 5.25p). This trade was at 5.55p.

By 10.37am SP had risen to 5.65p from 5.25p.

My guess - it’s a buy

So did Robbie say they have drilled 800m and the high grade strike is maybe 1.8km? So in a month we will know how long the high grade ore will last (how much the 13months extends by).

Dec : government process to certify the land as special purpose- meetings held at local level did not support the certification proposal. MRPRAM then wrote to MMHI recommending certification despite the local views.

Feb RNS - certification progressing more slowly than advised. Formal correspondence from central, provincial and district authorities has been sent to the relevant agencies ahead of submission for approval

April RNS - documentation has been prepared and submitted to relevant ministries in advance of submission to cabinet. The certification. Is being proposed as the development is a project of national importance.

So by official news - locals say no, central government call it a project of national importance and are moving this along now. Legally the decision ends with them.

What took so long? Documentation at local level was likely rather slow in reaching central government agencies as they voted against the certification. They probably delayed as long as they could.

Umm official news is released by RNS, or have I got it all wrong?

I have noticed a change in RM, less gushing and more careful in what he says, and for good reason. If I’m being honest I find that a bit more reassuring. Not sure why. I think saying he was too trusting is perhaps a fair comment.

What went wrong - it’s in the 5/12/22 RNS, isn’t it?

Local meeting in MATAD district voted against the central government certification.

Which prompted MRPAM to write to MMHI recommending certification. At this point everything changed. Moves were made to move away from a local decision and into the hands of central government.

It’s in the RNS. I’m sure you’ve read it by now.

I was a bit unsure yesterday but that has to be a buy today and about the same time as yesterdays trade.

So if the high grade zone greatly enhances the economics of expansion - that either means

1) need less money as they can pay for more of the expansion themselves (clearly not this as they are looking more money)

2) it is a loan that can be paid back more quickly

3) it is forward selling of gold, and again paid back more quickly

I guess the other thought is that

4) it allows them to ask for more money, pay back over the same time frame but go for the 50,000oz mine expansion…

Pretty sure I’ve seen posts here discussing short term and long term prospects of the company.
