I agree, its a dour situation, it feels like the government are just trying to keep us suppressed.

How many people are commiting suicide at the moment per day compared to Covid deaths. How many of those poor people are committing suicide due to the governments current policies and their ineptitude to handle this properly. I bet its a lot more than covid, and it's not being reported every day.

If you bought in low £2's or upper £1.9's at the right time, tyour 2.5% dream could be a reality here long term. I always calculate my yeilds at the price I paid, anything else and you are kidding yourself. It doesn't matter what the current price is when I lookat my portfolio and dividends. Mt buy price is all that matters to me.

BP are a chameleon amongst oil companies in the way that they are rapidly turning to greeen energy and it bodes well for the future.

Morning all, I've been in and out of OPTI for a few years now, and got back in recently, but I note the spread is quiter wide. Is this a recent thing, or is my mind playing tricks on me?

Hi Schalf, I agree about the erroneous comments, and if you have shown them to be so, thats great as that is what forums are for.

I don't think however, that comments made on here or any other board on any other platform effect the share price though.

And as in my original post, threats should never be made, thats just childish and a good reason to wave the bannished stick.

Probably more like lack of it Dave.

Why does the board default and fall into a slanging match. We all have differing views whether its hoping to get in at a lower price (can't see why in penny shares) or hoping to get the price higher for nore profit. The beauty of debate is to see other points of view, take it into consideration and take your own view on a share or a view. Everyone who brings information to the board is welcome in my eyes, I have invested here but not a lot, because in my own view it has got great potential. I haven't dug as deep as others, and some views I might not like but if they are facts, then you should welcome the information, after all, information is power in this game!
It doesn't matter who'se name is attached to the comment, just read it and if you don't agree, put your case forward and make it a reasoned agrument, that we can all join in, or at least enjoy the information. You can do this without getting personal or slinging insults around. This isn't a school playground, its your hard earned, at least show your cash a little respect.
This current culture of cancel and "you're either with me or against me" is killing the art of decent communication, either verbally or written. Enjoy others conversation, but don't gang up like a pack of degenerates, if you don't agree, say why and show evidence. It's easy really.
And above all, it's Friday, the sun is out, and the pubs are open. I for one have a table at the old school inn and will be enjoying a few pints talking with friends, something I've craved for for months.

I don't post on here very often, and as I have never been on a cruise, maybe I shouldn't. However, I've never built an aero engine, but I'm invested in Rolls Royce and sometimes post on there, so here goes.

I love your posts Mr Magic, most times when you post a negative post, the SP goes up...it's hilarious. I'm in here in 3 portfolios and got my son into it a few months ago too. Just after that, it went to £15+ and Mr Magic said it would be around £13 very soon...mark my words. So here we sit at £18.00 up 30% this year. I would say in the next 2 years it will reach previouis highs. Not sure if anyones noticed, but the whole world is much much further in debt, not just Carnival, but hey ho.

I've been watching CLP for a few months now and have decided to take the plunge on this dip. This is one of those opportunities that look good in the short, medium anbd long term!
