Garwool, it depends on where the persson resides, Italy or UK, and as the team is split between the two, for those in Italy after April makes no difference as the Italian tax year runs with the calendar tax year, ie January to December. however the UK domiciles could certainly take advantage of our tax year.

Miker, I didn't sell that day, and if you read the post, I said that I wouldn't thenthen. However, as I said, I waited and did sell when it picked up. And as the rise was so great, I managed to top slice and get my hard earned back, leaving some to ride.

Hey Bamb, no, I'm not disgruntled at all, I first invested here under CLP and was very excited, I'm not so now, QBT doesn't owe me anything nor I owe them. All I'm doing is pointing people to an area that they can read up about a very complicated business. That is all. I'm not ****ging anyone off, nor am I bigging anyone up. I'm just stating the facts, and they are not my facts blown out of proportion, they are reality.

Sorry, forgot to mention, all of the mining machine manufacturers have full order books and the earliest deliveries to the current orders is October 2022. So unless Quantum have ordered under a psudonym, there won't be any serious mining until Q4 at the very earliest.

If you would want to mine seriously, as seems to be the case here, and not want to join a pool, which a lot of smaller miners do, then I think you will need upwards of $50m. AND bear in mind, the block size, currently at 6.25 bitcoins is due to halve to 3.125 bitcoins per mined bloc in around 2 years.
