Quick question guys, confused here are they starting phase 1 or phase of the trails here? Also has this drug been used before on human trials

They have a massive chunk of the company lol that shows you confidence and these are people who would be doing their research, either they are confident like I am that this is going to be approved or they have more info then us, I think with us getting more media attention over the coming days and weeks don't expect the share price to hang around it will take off all of a sudden

If SNG works then it will be around for a very long time, this wil dwarf ncyt, there's already others trying to make a faster testing kit, SNG is unique and patented for the inhaled version of interferon B, if successful i will not be selling until I see the drug being ordered in mass scale by America and countries like India 1.4 billion ppl alone, Africa Europe and Middle East, I want to see what the share price is then, this is a drug that could be bought and kept by countries do deal with the already several other lung viral infections people suffer or die from on a yearly basis,

Assume the treatment should work the same for the lung viral infections the same, unless you were creating a vaccine or cure specific to the virus

Luckyno7, exactly just trying to get folks to read more and understand, They have used it against various viruses, The SNG001 is made specifically for lung viral infections, and what the corona virus is doing right now, They know or are very confident it will work because they have used it against so many other viruses and corona different strain,

Guys I can see why the CEO is confident and this could be given the approvals, have a look at the older RNS's also the one from the 24th july 2019 from last year, they were trialing the interferon beta against the right viral infections of the lungs, then later on they had good results, below is a copy paste of the rns on what viruses they detected and the drug was usesd againts, then read trial update rns's after

DaveW58 thanks for reposting that, Like I mentioned earlier today we could be conditionally approved while trials still continue, this also matches the fact they have started to manufacture the drugs already, why would you spend £4 million on a guess? The approving bodies have asked for it I guess, I think the CEO and others are doing their best to keep a tight ship but the clues are all there and given away by accident just like the email which states confidently once results are done we are going to discuss best and fastest routes to expeditious approval, approvals will take days only so no one get caught with your pants down lol.

The last line, To manufacture SNG001, so many clues are there that SNG001 will be going to the market, dont forget that top approval bodies and governments have approached SNG too, CEO also confident and is in constant meeting with top bods

Synairgen’s SNG001 is a formulation of interferon beta for direct delivery to the lungs via nebulisation. A double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of SNG001 in mild-moderate COVID-19 patients began in late March. It has been found that the addition of exogenous IFN-beta before or during viral infection of lung cells can either prevent or greatly diminish cell damage and viral replication, respectively.

SNG001 was identified in the WHO’s landscape analysis of therapeutics on 17 February 2020 as the only Phase II/III observational therapy delivered by the inhaled route. finnCap helped Synairgen raise £14m at the end of March and those funds will be used to fund the trial activity, manufacture SNG001 and also for working capital requirements.

Again this DRUG if it works then could be used on other serious lung infection, there will be so many different trials run on this if it does work, this is not just going to be used for COV19, the market will be massive to what people are thinking right now, but only if this works,
