So from the above I wouldn't trust what you say as either you have a massive chip on your shoulder, or you're someone who already posts here and you made a new account (judging by the number of posts). Well said NewKOTB, better out than I could have done. I was just trying to indicate that they clearly own some shares, and ate potentially yet to declare. On the Morgan Stanley declaration it wasn't clear what their relationship to the deal was, but there must be something. Unfortunately I don't understand much about it, it's my first share subject to takeover discussions. In my excitement I just wanted to be involved!

Thanks for the run down, there's a lot of nonsense in there. We know it's a binary share, fluctuations are PoO and general sentiment based. If this is sanctioned the difference between 20p and 30p SP won't be significant in comparison. In the meantime we have very little info to go on as to likelihood of sanction, except PoO influenced. However, as stated many times it is future PoO which is important. Finally, it's not late yet. If nothing happens by the end of Feb I'll get worried unless it's indicated that something will be announced imminently (say in 1-2 months).

Just waiting for some action...it is early days after all, there's plenty of potential action, there's just nothing happening yet

Does this mean that probably only about 10% of the shareholding is owned by institutional investors? Obviously there could be many more under the threshold for declaring, but there'd have to be loads of them to be significant. 10% seems low to me, or am I missing something?

We have the stimulation programme at ELM 1004 (gas) and EMS 1001 (oil and gas) due to start imminently, after a 4 week delay. Then I think 1 month to the results from that - I'm happy to be corrected though, maybe I'm mixing up the delay with the time to results. Could be an interesting start of the year... Plus M&A is in the air (Ophir) I'm assuming as prices are so low in the O&G sector at the moment.

In the RNS on the 12th Nov it said 50 days of drilling is required after referencing the spudding on the 8th Nov. Presumably there's a week or so leeway on that time, but the "50 days" suggests we should get results by the end of this week, at the latest really... Not that this is massively material; it is interesting and potentially positive though.

I'm not expert but I'm anticipating that it's mostly priced in now anyway. The next financial report will just confirm it rather than require a shock share price repricing. I think that would explain some of the non-PoO related drops of the last 6 months.

I suppose there will always be an update on the 10th! Whether it is material or not is the key, we've heard enough times about LOIs being signed...

I think that's referencing EG-24, which was announced much earlier in the year. I'm willing to be corrected though.

My guess for Zama news is 10th Jan. 7th Dec RNS said "The well...is expected to reach the reservoir early in the New Year".
