I think people were making the points that:
1) there is likely to be some choke restricting flow. Therefore whatever is flaring it's representative of lower than the maximum unconstrained flow rate
2) whatever is flowing is flaring. Therefore a visibily large flare represents a decent flowrate.

Appreciate the arguments about the purpose of the choke and not knowing if or how it is in use...as well as not knowing which part of the drill is flowing. There are many unknowns there but it's positive to ponder on the size of the flare and the potential flowrates of the well prior to finding out in the RNS.

The next milestone I had read mid November for commissioning. I want expecting any arrival update.

2C now indicated as 20 bcf (was 18.8 bcf unrisked potential).
Good gas productivity.
Excellent economic potential - estimated value $40m NPV @$6 gas

Unfortunately they couldn't drill below 2407m finally - too risky. To be tested later.
Now moving to production testing and commercialisation

It seems they halted trading to focus on the incident and get it under control and assess the impact.
The pressure was just over half of the wellhead rating...seems a bit close for comfort to me. Obviously the pressure was significantly higher than anticipated.
We might need adUK to explain some of the terminology, as it seems quite technical!

I think this is the new world Grippa and we'll have to get used to it. The threatening of the incumbent global hegemony will result in instability and a geopolitical reconfiguration which takes time to settle down again. I think the China tariffs are here to stay democrat or republican.

If they meant one single well they wouldn't have used the word aggregate. Also, it's in the section referred to as Lancaster EPS performance, which should include both wells.

The water cut has surely increased from 205/21a-7Z well @ 8% and 205/21a-6 well @ 0% to the aggregate of 7.5%. Of course it depends on the proportional flows from each well but there are many fewer scenarios which point to water cut decreasing.

Well their announcement said the final drill to 2600m will take 1.5 days and potentially started last night. Therefore they'd expect to know something (this is in the area of the historic blowout) prior to relisting on Wednesday morning.
It seems they are just covering the share price for any leaks of info from the drill.
