Thanks for working this out dt. We have the average but does royalty vary depending on features eg DMS vs full ADAS+ personalisation etc.
could someone ask during the Q&A about how this works or even range of revenue per vehicle eg 5-20, or up to 30/40 etc.
Perhaps companies to do with cognition science (to further understand impairment etc) or even optical path science which have somewhat become our core expertise. We have data and no one else have and already far ahead when it comes to DMS eye-gaze tech. But still for Auto offering.
Good coverage. Our turn (to be featured in Wired) may come. Fingers xhttps://www.wired.co.uk/article/mrna-vaccine-revolution-katalin-kariko
Look back and Elon has to now eat humble pie for his irresponsible statements about DMS.
Look ahead and comparison with Super Cruise and Blue Cruise will show that Tesla has an inferior DMS system. Elon fanboys will then eat their pies too.
SEE just want to bring people home safely. Until then.........
Very well explained TLS and thanks for the foresight. Colin particularly likes BMW (multiple tier-1s) offering. NVidia may still licence SEE DMS given the competition and low power.
Whatever happens to Aptiv DMS offering which was developed in-house?
Lewbo, I think it’s probably correct that MBLY chose Cipia. The big picture is MBLY didn’t see DMS coming as per Colin’s piece in EETimes.
I’ve read somewhere that when SEE won the Caterpillar contract with $20M up front (and we see in profit that year), the competitors (they lost of course) included MBLY. Of course a lot has happened since... and our time will come.
TF, you meant the retirement age right? Working at 88... there must be a story to tell but I hope that’s not the life of SCLP LTHs.
SeisNav,
The big news (for now) is the confirmation of ALL Cherokees...
“In 2022, Jeep plans to introduce Hands-free Active Driving Assist for **all** 2022 Grand Cherokee models. This system adds a hands-free driving function for certain limited-access highways. It works similar to Cadillac Super Cruise, allowing miles and miles...”
Veoneer confirms 630000 Grand Cherokee.
In one of Paul’s presentation, ~35000 cars with SEE DMS on the road. By next year that number will be x20?? My J A W just dropped!!
Terry, one of the articles about VIP mentioned 7 MILLION vehicles by 2023. If VIPs also contain SC data and hence our DMS, can we conclude that by 2023 there will be 7 million SEE DMS fitted in GM cars and trucks.
Surely then the first million not too far away!!
Hi TF, the figures are likely to be NOT per annum. The denominator is just total vaccinated population and not over a time period. I see that UK is now imposing a moratorium on AZN vaccine for the 18-29... So there's substance in the claim and needs to be investigated further. Ta....
