It is puzzling. The way to 'reserve' a company name isn't to register another one with a similar (Ltd rather than plc) name at Cos House!

Badger. It's genuinely weird that some people can't distinguish between negativity and rational, balanced debate (not aimed at you).

What is often perceived as negativity often consists of reasonable wondering (no answers are available) on where we are up to in the process because we do have an absence of information. The history of this investment is such that any doubts (and the people on here who have no doubts have either lost touch with reality or are totally disingenuous) are unlikely to be looked at as the glass being half full.

It's clearly a possibility. Why anyone would think the share price is being held down and who by will remain as a perennial mystery. It's arrant nonsense.

Timescales are obviously flexible but they are frustrating when indications are not met. the 6-9 months estimate has now been and gone and at the last IM meeting, JW suggested it might be sooner rather than later, and that was almost two months ago.

There aren't any vibes to suggest that the project has hit snags but there's no doubt hat the bigger company wields the power in negotiations. the prospect of abandoning this arrangement and finding a new partner is spectacularly unappealing

The announcement is hugely important regardless of whether the identity of the partner has been correctly identified via speculation. If and when they are willing to put their name to the project publicly that, in itself, will be a significant endorsement.

Exactly TIG. There are, of course, other irons in the fire but if the S&P partner walked away that would be an absolutely massive blow as it would call into question the validity of the tech that underpins all those irons/fires.

No reason to think they will but as we have had no concrete news it's not hard to conclude that recent , and very welcome, price movements are just on the back of sector news - and that has to be backed up at entity level to be meaningful. Hopefully that is reasonably imminent

The connection is that they are in hydrogen.

Last week the share price of AFC got a useful boost which was doubtless due in part to the deal signed by ITM that emphasised the viability of hydrogen. It should be clear to all that to really put the desired rocket under our price then we need our own deal to come to fruition. Hopefully that isn't too far away

Komatsu is not a strong partnership; it's R&D that may or mat not lead to commerciality. Obviously it's good to have a relationship with a company that size but string partnership yet? No.

I'll tell you why. Because barring very exceptional events (so not in the normal run of business) price sensitive announcements are made pre-market opening soi that all investors have the opportunity to see the information before the price can react.

This is really basic stuff - why do you think 7am is the usual time for a price sensitive news announcement? As I have explained previously a negotiated contract that is signed at lunchtime wouldn't be announced until 7am the following business day; to do so would be a breach of exchange rules. To deal on the back of it before the announcement is made would be a breach of insider trading laws.

Indeed. One hopes for an upbeat vibe but the chances of getting a material RNS at an AGM is so close to being nil as to be effectively nil.

That's the whole point. We're all aligned in what we want to happen (II don't believe for a second there are multiple shorters on here, and I'm most certainly not one of them). We all have opinions but when they are totally one-eyed and unbalanced then they stifle constructive (there's an irony) debate rather than facilitating it.

Anyway, we're up - but we have to hope that there's a concrete (maybe even tarmac...) reason for that in the offing rather than yet another false dawn.
