Can't see in there any hint that commercial terms remain outstanding. When that apparent deal that isn't a deal yet and won't be if they can't agree commercial terms the share price went up by around a third - obviously because lots of investors/market makers thought that we had a deal! This isn't about AFC in particular - it's about listed companies regularly failing to provide investors with accurate information. Clearly, as terms are yet to be agreed there is a possibility (it might be miniscule or measurable - I don't know!) that the deal might not actually happen. Would be nice to know!

All it would take would be a line in the announcement that said - 'conditional on terms being agreed which we expect to be the case in ?weeks/months'

The last time AFC confirmed the total shares in issue was on 30/6/25 - 856,733,146. Helikon's short position was at 3.22%, so 27,586,807 shares

Post the placing the number of shares in issue was 1,081,733,146

Post the retail offer closing the number of shares in issue was 1,126,462,399

Helikon's short position is now 2.59%. I'm not clear if that is post or pre-the retail offer closing; it is definitely post the placing

Either way, it hasn't been reduced by market activity.

I am still seething with myself for not acting on the obvious tone from the Bullard/Rendall presentation that essentially said the fuel cells business, as it stood, was dead. But not in so many words.

Can only because not considered to be price sensitive for them. Just a a manufacturing agreement and not one that has material scale yet.

AFC did RNS the deal RedKnight. Volex didn't so one assumes that they/their advisers do not, at this point, consider it to be price sensitive for them
