I'll listen to it on a train journey today but I do recall that he said nearly a year ago when sitting in with the old FD on an IM presentation that they were essentially on the shelves and ready for sale. Yet here we are.

Meanwhile on the LI post someone has said that in the States they are already producing H2 at £3kg. No idea of the context.

One question would have sufficed - what's the price of a unit?

We know the answer to that, Daz. He was spoon-fed by Bond and swallowed everything he was given.

Not really expecting deals as such but progress updates certainly needed. We were talking to a big potential partner at the time of the last IM call (2 months ago now) and hopping for news on that soon - but the apparent definition of soon isn't the same as mine.

And it's now 3 and a half months since the JDA with the S&P 500m company was announced as being predicated on successful completion of milestones - but what are they, when are they due and have we met or missed any?

Feels more like an Investor Relations post to me. For strategy I would want someone with on the ground experience of the industries which we are trying to sell into. The business has made so many basic mistakes in not delivering what is wanted by potential purchasers. Even things as basic as not getting the shape of the generators right (let's forget their previous astronomical cost for a moment!) that it really seems that sort of knowledge was lacking - and struggle to see how this sorts out such basic issues.

While I think that going private is a strong possibility here (I'm not talking tomorrow or next week) it's stretching it a bit, Melvin, to say the CEO always takes that route - it's happened....once!

Like everyone else I am nonplussed by yesterday's appointment. What is the CEO of a (very) smallcap company if he isn't the head of strategy? Going private back as an an option? Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. All it takes is the slightest delay to any of the potential income streams and serious investment is needed. If that's the case then the share price will be through the floor and raising the required funds in public markets will be very challenging. I'd take my in price (17.3p) today.

The announcement re the JV with ICL said:

Initial revenues expected in early 2026, subject to permitting, generating up to 400kg/day of hydrogen, followed by incremental capacity through AFC Energy's Hy-5 portable, containerised ammonia crackers capable of generating up to 500kg/day.

But impossible from that to come up with a revenue number based on sound calculations. The words 'up to' are meaningless, a bit like the word 'from' when an apparent bargain is being advertised. And 'incremental' clearly cannot imply a rapid ramping up of production.

The ludicrous Peel Hunt coming up with a 23p target price doesn't smack of short term optimism to me (but I'd take it!) and it of course rubbishes the gibberish than CN persists in propounding (don't bother replying, I won't see it) about the likely rocketing of the share price. Other things could of course happen and help but they amount to hope and guesses.

They are an absolute disgrace. Just pump out whatever information they are given with no critical analysis whatsoever. Their laughable target a few years back was 195p. Clearly they never spotted that the fuel cells were priced so uncompetitively - so can only assume they never even asked. Utterly ridiculous.

Experts? Experts at looking up their own backsides.

Well, we disagree. Because here's no way on earth that they are going to be making what would be potentially price sensitive forecasts in a forum like that.

These posts are the equivalent of identifying that we are still using petrol and claiming that makes a speculative exploration company a dead-cert multi-bagger.
