D owe actually know, as demonstrable fact, that our units are at work on the Lower Thames Xing? On the video posted the other day the units were Green Power's, and Green Power is an alternative supplier within Speedy.

There seems to be good reason to be confident (although I wouldn't mind hearing from AFC direct on the subject) that we'll be in a position in early 2026 to make commercial sales of hydrogen.

But can't overlook that this exercise with Extreme H was essentially an advertising promotion undertaken by Tamgo for their service renting out units to their customers. It's obviously great that the event appears to have gone very well and that Tamgo are happy with the unit's performance but they won't be buying anymore until it is clear that they have created a market for them across MENA. And it's very unlikely that orders will be forthcoming until Volex have done their thing.

I guess there's no point in producing it until someone has signed a contract to buy it

In today's quiz for the hard of understanding we ask why the AFC share price remains depressingly low.

Is it because:

A: Oil rich companies are suppressing this till oil is bleed dry?

B: Market makers are holding the price down for their shorting mates?

C: After a couple decades or so of development we still have virtually no revenue, no actual commercial sales and nothing available for commercial sales?

This is from the RNS on 4 July:

AFC Energy and ICL have agreed terms to incorporate the JV, with further detailed terms to be agreed between the parties. Once established, the JV will initially acquire AFC Energy's pilot ammonia cracking plant and hydrogen compression system in Q4 2025 (subject to permitting requirements) with initial revenues expected in early 2026. This will be followed by the sale of Hy-5 units to the JV once productionised.

Can only imagine that ICL posting that today means that progress has been made

For the time being even trials aer a thing of the past, unless Acciona are still takin the P1$$. Nobody is going to trial a current version of a fuel cell when the revamped version via Volex isn't available until the middle of next year.

We're not even in a cycle of trials unless Acciona are still taking the p!$$. Nobody is going to be trialling the units that will be replaced by the Volex re-engineered versions.

That's a ludicrous post, Aldebaran. You might have a point if it had jacked up by, say, 25% bit to call it a a sucker's boost when it's barely popped up a couple of percent is just silly.
