An AGM is not a forum for delivering material, price sensitive news. it just isn't. If you don't understand that , which I suspect you don't, then maybe you should.

So, you don't think anyone should fixate on particular dates - but yu're focused on the AGM.

Has there ever been an AGM for any company that has brought real material news? Doubt it, because those dates are set well in advance so they are highly unlikely to coincide with material price sensitive news which must be released promptly when it crystallises.

There's a problem for this company with indicated timescales, VofR, because we have been let down so many tomes in the past.

The CEO said, effectively, with regards to noise, that it was better to under-promise and over-deliver and that's clearly logical, but there will inevitably be increasing twitchiness if what are seen as deadlines (even if they are not) are missed.

Given he makes the same 'prediction' most weeks he'll be right sooner or later , and will then proceed to claim oracle status. Clown.

However, we are approaching six months since the last IM presentation during which we were told that news should be forthcoming in 3-6 months - so it is to be hoped that we are close to something and, of course, recent price activity does give cause for optimism that something positive is reasonably imminent.

That is tempered a little for me (and most sane people) until it actually arrives

I don't think technical have anything to do with it; I just don't see them as hugely relevant for shares such as this in companies at this stage of development.

It's not the 'fact' that the S&P partner may be named - it's that naming them would give a very clear direction of travel towards genuine commercial traction

There are many of them but the most apposite in the current circumstances could be:

'It is better to travel that to arrive', which is pretty much the same as 'buy on rumour', sell on fact'

We're up around 30% since the tipster put us forward as his 2026 tip and backed t hat up with a very credible interview with the CEO. But no news during that period so it's on hope/expectation rather than hard fact. We have to be optimistic that material news is reasonably close at hand and that when the first RNS of 2026 drops it is a real booster rather than a damp squib

Who are these numerous large shareholders? There's only one (Janus Henderson) that's over the notifiable level. JW did refer to some that are close to it

We hope that means that the very welcome rise is part of the lead up to something of a quantum leap towards commercialisation for the first time in AFC history.

I would say it's extraordinary, but it's actually totally predictable. More chance of having a rational debate about thermonuclear dynamics with a gerbil.

CN. I reckon you were literally the only person who thought the Nifty deal was still live. It doesn't matter why you thought that, but it was obvious to everybody else that it was dead in the water.

Regardless of any rationale it wouldn't be totally unreasonable to expect a little humility and to acknowledge that calling all those who were right when you were wrong trolls, shorters and worse was, perhaps, misguided.

Beachboy. There was no guarantee that the JDA wit h the S&P company would come to fruition, there still isn't. But the signs are positive. Clearly the company capitalisation does not currently reflect that del delivering what it might- if we get a material step closer to it doing so that the valuation will rise to reflect that.

In the light of this week's welcome price movement it's worth reviving this.

The timescales identified mean that we can hope that material news is fairly imminent.

You posted the other day, CN, to some one who asked what you held that such details were private. Fair enough - but that does make it a bit odd that you want to tell us when ever you buy. (whether you have or not is of no interest).
