We've been here plenty of times before and though technology means the mechanisms have changed unjustified optimism has driven many, many crashes over several centuries. Just as one example, the original internet boom was described as 'a new paradigm' it was the sort of situation that meant Lastminute.com was valued more highly than Marks & Spencers.

That equates to a market cap of around £3.5bn. That is, I would say, at the outer edge of likelihood barely a year after, we hope, the company generates its first real commercial revenue.

That's not how it works CN - otherwise there would be dozens, maybe hundreds, of price sensitive announcements made throughout the day - there aren't.

Price sensitive announcements are almost always made at 7am, so prior to the market open - the theory being that gives all market participants the opportunity to digest the news prior to market activity taking place on the back of it.

The rules around insider dealing and market abuse preclude (in theory...) anyone acting on the information before it is announced but at any point in the day there is a plethora of such information developing across lots of listed companies but it is not announced until the morning. If a deal is signed at 11am you won't see an announcement before lunchtime.

That's just it ALBM. We know very little (not quite nothing). So lengthy AI generated posts add nothing.

That's exactly it, Southernhay. The historic failure to deliver products which could be used commercially can't have helped the future relationship. Re-engagement from new(ish) management vital - hopefully that is already done

Do you think, ALBM, that it might be time to give AI a few well deserved says off? There's no thought process or analysis here (which rather give the lie to the 'I' in 'AI'), rather a regurgitation of historic information that may or may not be relevant to today.

It would be interesting and informative (hopefully we find on on 27th) to know of the Acciona relationship has any legs but JW talked of it in fairly derisive terms last time round - the perpetual trialer (or words to that effect) and there has been absolutely no hint of anything imminent. They certainly can't be blamed for not buying a fleet of Bond's fantasy world units but when a post cites 2023 as the most recent activity it is clearly not a fully fledged business engagement.

I'm sure they are - $2m isn't a massive commitment from them which is why it isn't a definitive game changer. It might be in time but it's pretty clear that the market response to possibilities is going to be pretty muted - we're not about to go into another hydrogen bubble; too many burnt fingers from the last one.

We will need to get much closer to certainty of real commercialisation before we see the really significant re-rating that we hope for.

We don't need validation from a potential customer/partner capitalised at $43bn? Come on! No , it's not a game changer yet - but it might be. Nobody (with one possible exception) was expecting huge orders now.
