When one looks at XILIO Therapeutics and their recent IPO at end of last year, with a valuation of $ 450 mill, it certainly makes interesting reading, as a read cross!
The company is working on immuno-oncology therapies,but using MMPs not FAP. They have only just commenced phase 1 trials,with one patient so far, for their Tumor -selective immuno-oncology therapies for cancer.
Avacta believes FAP to be superior to MMPs!
The market cap at the IPO would suggest Avacta TX is worth at least $450mill and then off course there is the rest of Avacta’s business.
Any update/RNS from Avacta would add a £1 to price immediately.

You have a company that has two major divisions : Therapeutic and Diagnostic, if one were to look at precision oncology side and the upcoming and ongoing cancer trials / Gene therapy and then were to re introduce the LFT and then apply market valuation on the two separate divisions, you would have a market price 5 x current level for starters !

Israeli trial shows 4th COVID shot less effective on Omicron.
The results are in for the Sheba Medical Center's landmark study of a fourth COVID-19 shot, which took place in Tel Aviv with the Pfizer-BioNTech (PFE, BNTX) vaccine. While the trial was many times smaller than traditional studies (just 154 medical staff were given the extra booster in December), it's the only known study of the effects of a fourth dose. The findings are also preliminary and not yet published.
Quote: "The vaccine, which was very effective against the previous strains, is less effective against the Omicron strain," said Prof. Gili Regev-Yochay, a lead researcher in the experiment. "We see an increase in antibodies, higher than after the third dose. However, we see many infected with Omicron who received the fourth dose. The bottom line is that the vaccine is excellent against the Alpha and Delta [variants], for Omicron it's not good enough."
As a result, she is recommending a fourth shot be given to those at higher risk, but signaled that the current campaign, which offers the jab to anyone of 60, could be amended to only include even older groups. Regev-Yochay also said that while the decision to give the fourth vaccine to the most vulnerable was the correct one, the results didn't support a rollout to the wider population

Antigen tests are generally known to be less sensitive than PCR tests done in labs, but they are fast, more affordable and easy to perform at home.
The FDA suggests that people should continue to use these tests and make sure they follow the instructions closely. If someone tests negative with an antigen test but still suspects that they may have Covid-19 because they have symptoms or have been exposed to the coronavirus, they should follow up with a PCR (or molecular) test.

I suspect we find Avacta back rather quicker than the market expects.
All the other Tests manufacturers have just accepted that the first two days, the LFT tests are not as accurate as a PCR test and that is well known.
The FDA are also pointing out the the demand for LFT will be substantial for a long time.

Abbott this month said it will manufacture 70 million BinaxNOW rapid tests in the U.S. with plans to increase that output. CEO Robert Ford, who spoke Tuesday at the J.P. Morgan healthcare conference, said that the company is producing more than 100 million tests per month globally. The test maker is seeing a "very big surge" in testing in the U.S. and internationally, Ford said, noting that "it's a challenge to forecast."

Always been of the opinion that the company’s “ silence is golden “ approach regarding the AVA6000 phase 1 trials ,suggests to me that when we do get an update, it will be fireworks and having bought more shares at these levels, will look very clever.

The following small study came up with conclusion that Antigen tests was not as good as PCR on day 1 and 2, the study used Abbott’s and Quidel.
Both companies have indicated this is old news, PCR was always better on the first two days and will continue.Avacta wants to be accurate from day 1 and will return to the market with such a product!
