Business secretary Kwasi Kwarteng has written an open letter to employers in England, asking more firms with staff who cannot work from home to sign up for workplace COVID-19 testing.

Earlier this month, the government announced plans to ramp up workplace testing to try to spot more people who have contracted the coronavirus but are displaying no symptoms. Network Rail was among early adopters of the push.

“Around one in three people who have the virus have no symptoms and may be unknowingly spreading the virus,” Kwarteng wrote in his open letter. “To help stop the virus spreading, free testing is available for all firms to test their workforce. The government is providing employers with 50 or more employees with lateral flow testing kits to test their staff that cannot currently work from home, or who will return to the workplace as the economy opens up.”

Test kits will be supplied free of charge until 30 June for firms with more than 50 staff that register for the testing scheme by 31 March.

Before the end of the year, with production up and running, using several manufacturing partners will result in a share north of 500p reflecting Covid testing earnings present and next year.
What we had to understand, the market is enormous, there is only a handful of testing manufacturers who will be at Avacta’s level and they are all saying ( Roche Ceo ) Testing is here to stay, even by the end of this year and next only a fraction of the world’s population will have access to proper LFT and indeed vaccine.
