At last month’s Investing in African Mining Indaba in Cape Town, Kodal Minerals CEO Bernard Aylward sat down with interactive investor to discuss the main drivers behind the recent lithium price rise and what this means for Kodal Minerals.

“The main driver behind [the SC6 price rise] is obviously the continued demand for spodumene product and battery products, both vehicles as well as battery electric storage systems, integration into large grids and more widespread take up of the green energy production and storage.”

“The biggest thing we’ve done most recently is commenced export of our spodumene concentrate to China…we’re very fortunate that we’re in a high price lithium environment and we expect to see good revenue for the product we’re selling.”

Regarding the resource upgrade announced by Hainan

Surely this is an investors wet dream, insider information that's not been officially released which will allow you to increase/decrease your position accordingly. KOD screams BUY

On the (online) presentation ran by Mitsu Electric - they're positioning in-cabin monitoring (DMS) tech in healthcare and are proposing PoCs, as well as building management

Howard, Hainan announced the 2nd shipment being loaded approx 3/4 weeks before it was actually loaded, and they said it was going to be 15,000 tonnes instead of the 20,000 that ended up on the ship. You need to keep in mind that Hainan is reporting what benefits Hainan and not reporting the things that aren't benefiting them e.g. cost of spod, arbitration.

I understand your negative sentiment after losing 10k. But why are you still tormenting yourself by posting on this board? I would be reviewing other companies to invest in and make up for the loss.

I do want to point out that each company presents what is important to them and doesn't post what they think is irrelevant.

Yes Hainain has posted that they visited Mali and that the second shipment has arrived. But at the same time they very much avoid talking about the fact that they're paying for the spod. All of their posts make it look like they're own the mine and it's just coming in. They've not posted about the 15m arbitration that's happening either.
