He just confirmed that they have multiple offers for the final $60m and could not deal until now,so Kefi can get the best terms :-) it is happening ,he also gave the impression a deal is ready to be signed ( the one that Kefi prefers ). Nice to hear that confirmed,the market should soon wake up to this and see the huge discount on offer here at the moment.

The company have stated many times that the equity part of the deal was straightforward and has been oversubscribed with interest from investors,that was always going to be announced after the bank sign off and Harry has said as much. If he appears on media today or tomorrow he will want to make that point again.Kefi are finally in serious play and are a mid-cap producer in the making that will offer significant growth and dividends over a long time frame.

Harry always does media interview after major RNS statements,he will likely give assurances that the equity part of the deal has already been arranged as previously advised.That will light the touchpaper here again DYOR

Kefi are in serious business now,this is a multi billion project and the company will retain a massive percentage of it .

Harry will likely be on the airwaves today setting out the equity part of deal,he has already said before this is straightforward and kefi have had an oversubscription of interest in this and is non-dilutive.

Kefi are now in business and a huge re-rate is nearby IMVHO

Todays news was the one we were waiting for :-) the additional $100m was always the easy part and the company have already stated that the remaining $60m of this has had proposals exceeding this.Kefi is now finally in business,i was very happy to add a few more today!

KEFI Gold and Copper PLC announced that the US$240 million debt offering for the Tulu Kapi Gold Project has been formally signed by both co-lenders and KEFI. Construction projects are underway, funded by working capital, as part of the US$340 million development project. Commitments and proposals for equity-risk capital exceed the required US$100 million, including US$20 million from the Government of Ethiopia and US$10 million already invested by KEFI. Conditional proposals exceeding the remaining $60 million have been received. The project's net cash flow is estimated at US$1.9-3.5 billion over 7 years, with industry-standard valuation indicators building up to US$1.1-2.7 billion upon successful start-up, and an IRR of 95-161%.

Obvious good news but if they want to take it down to 1.1p again i will have another 5m :-)

CEO was also hinting that an update will follow shortly ,thats how i read his comments :-)

We should also consider that any contracts and agrrements in this sector are likely to be "long dated" and could be 15 to 20 years ,these are the type of contracts the market likes as there is a certainty to future income. We have every reason to believe Ukog will be a key player in this sector and the boss himself has stated as much..for him to even suggest that tells me there is far more going on behind the scenes than what has been released so far.

Any news on the Hydrogen involving National Gas and this will be back over 0.05p in a heartbeat and possibly way way higher- current market cap is just our cash balance so nothing priced in for assets as yet.Thank the lord we can hold these in SIPP and ISA :-)

He actually said that things are moving very fast,if we join the dots i think he was giving a subtle hint that some big announcements could be just around the corner.It obviously involves National Gas too as he also hinted in the interview,i am certainly adding a few more into my SIPP after hearing this today :-)

Laura,yes it is noticable that the company been tight lipped since the placing and Mou news,but as we have seen from your news item the Uk Hydrogen sector is clearly gearing up for some amazing growth.Has UKOG found themselves at the right place at the right time ?? it would appear so.

I would be very suprised if UKOG do not release some sort of update this week ,the placing seems to be clearing now just in time for some meat on the bones from the company. For example have the company been given a nod that they have favourable status for Hydrogen Storage in the south of the UK ?? Is this the reason things have moved so fast and the Nat Gas Mou was given ?? Interesting times here
