Bigw77,yes i think they were corporate buys possibly by our new ii,s that came aboard,they might push them through in one of the auctions today and they could attract quite a few eyes in my opinion.

Futura is now a recovery stock that will soon be on the radar, watch what happens when the herd arrives ( and they will ) .

I expect to see some large delayed buys pop up later from the first 5 minutes at the open today - possibly in the 1.25p region. I have a hunch the recent new ii,s in Futura are adding more.

Gheko, a good overview of the current situation, like you say the new Futura is a different animal from the last and the opportunity they have in Asia is massive.Also consider that FUM is off the radar of most investors at moment so this is the time to build a holding before the herd arrives ( and they will ) .

A future takeover at many multiples of current SP is also a real scenario that could happen and will likely be from a buyer in Asia in my opinion.

I would not be suprised to see this back over 2p before end of december and 3.8p by end of Q1 ,today already the bulk of the mm,s are on the 2p ask . Has all the hallmarks of a great recovery stock.

New markets in Asia for Futura should be very lucrative and see a rapid increase in sales,and in my opinion the company will be a bid target before too long.

Yes both the near east and far east should be easy pickings for futura laura,it does make me wonder if the recent new investment and backing here was in large part due to a nod and a wink that these new markets were coming. Or indeed if there would be takeover interest from Asia.

Laura, another interesting development alongside the recent China patent news, from some brief research i see the levels of ED in South Korea is on a par with China but of course South Korea also has the benefit of being one of the richest countries in the region / world.

There are some huge potential markets here for Futura ,my instinct is that the company are very much going to target these markets.

That is a possible scenario,and also the chance of a takeover of whole company possible from the Asia region

The order book is nicely poised here now and with PEEL moving off the ask (at last ) it could mean the overhang is just about done,the south east asia market for Futura could be huge and will no doubt catch the eye of a regional potential suitor.The opportunity is there for them for sure.

Stag, i have just noticed that PEEL who have been holding this back since the placing have finally moved off the ASK ,and shortly after a 1m buy popped up ...potential this is the start of the breakout today.My target is 2.2p by year end .

Laura,did you see the news today of the UK and South Korea trade deal ? ( it covers pharma and health ) that could be another decent market for Futura alongside China.From some prelim data i see the levels of ED in South Korea is same levels to China ,huge markets are now open to the company like never before.They have Patent filings in the country :-)

In my opinion the recent institutional money that has gone in here is for solid reasons, for example have they had early sight of the data on the new products ? and are they aware that a potential buyer for the company is lurking ?

At the current market cap it should be very exciting to find out !

Actually the chance of a T/O is fairly high in my opinion,from the current market cap a buyer could bid four times the current SP and still gain an absolute bargain.Futura is now a decent speculative punt for many many reasons and the potential takeover / buyout is just one.

The RNS yesterday confirmed the long awaited Sproule report will come next week ,and in my opinion it will be a great read with independent confirmation of what appears some very decent assets. Production is planned for next year :-)

Just had another wee top up :-) we could have a nice move into the close today with the news now a cert for next week ( as per yesterday RNS )

I think the Sproule report next week will put alot of eyes on Quantum and i have a gut feeling it will far exceed the internal company estimates ,the company will be aware of the contents already in my opinion.I also believe they think they can have multiple wells on production in 2026 ,things are moving fast here and a great business is being assembled.

Next week will be very big for us .

Lloydy....it does appear the overhang might be finally gone today :-) we have a very big week ahead and a real chance we move to more than double the current SP if those reports are "ontrack " and "ontrend".

this looks to be a highly favourable outcome for quantum, as it consolidates ownership in a project that already holds a drilled and cased helium discovery well, and which is now being advanced towards production testing. good to see directors increasing their stakes too. next year should be a crucial year.

We could have a lively close and open tomorrow once the RNS is digested --- company are about to give a MAJOR UPDATE next week :-)

In my opinion Quantum management have a fairly good idea of what the production testing will deliver ,or they would not have been moving so quick to get the funding sorted and the independent analysis concluded.

Everything so far is pointing towards some very valuable near term producing assets being viable - DYOR
