The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
They MIGHT have to raise again... although they may not have to? It depends upon if they get more contracts/sales before August! Cash runway is to August. They have invested heavily in the new Stonehouse plant.. and are confident in the product. I would hope within the next six months.. orders will come along! That's the plan... let's see what they achieve! GLA.
Some of these this morning! Placing should set the baseline at 1p... with new management involved, and a good product, and a possible pipeline of new sales/contracts, could be one to watch in 2023! Worth a shot anyway IMO. GLA.
Happy Christmas to all... hope Santa was good to everyone?
Just been reading the BBC's view on how the war in Ukraine might go... in 2023! Over quickly... or protracted:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-63987113
Hopefully... some of the views of a quick ending come to fruition.. and we're not here next Christmas talking about it.
May Ukraine be free, and I sincerely hope 2023 will be kind to all the innocent civilians there!! GLA.
Yes... it's a very grey area forward selling! Frankly... nearly every entity that takes part in a placing on AIM etc. Will inevitably forward sell shares. They sell them.. then get them back in the placing, thus keeping the status quo. Selling early.. allows them to sell above the placing price! It's not strictly legal, but I think most corporate bodies turn a blind eye to it. However, the difference here is the sheer volume of shares being traded, given the discount offered. They were 12p, but the placing was at 1p. Huge discount! This meant a massive new number of shares hitting the market! I guess this frightened LSE, and caused a stir, so they felt they had to act. Not sure how this resolves itself... maybe they have to cancel and rethink... but this could cause a short squeeze! We shall see. GLA.
Just been having a look at the Trackwise website. It's quite professional.. and they have employees working for the business for 20+ years! They seem to have a good product, and interests in a lot of areas/sectors. It's baffling to me why they have not had more contracts... and why the last placing was done at such a low value! They should be worth more. I hope for the employees and shareholders alike, this does not go under.. and they get more big contracts.. .soon! GLA.
Of doom and gloom merchants today I see! Bah Humbug and all that jazz :) Why would JA invest 250k of his own money in the last placing... if he was not extremely confident of getting this over the line? Lots of AIM companies, where the CEO does not own any shares.. and I am reluctant to invest where the CEO won't either! Working on Africa-time is difficult and time-consuming. It's not like a European bank... takes ages from what I have seen elsewhere. More time... but as long as he gets the deal done - we won't be complaining H1 2023!! :) GLA.
Neil... you're a cheery soul aren't you... should get yourself a magmanus doll for Christmas, so you can stick pins in it on Christmas day... keep yourself amused! :) Everyone else.. hope this suspension turns out well for all... GLA.
We have a DFS to be submitted by year end... which a buyer (or buyers) may (or may not) be waiting for, to possibly firm up (or not) a deal to buy one (or more) of the company assets!!! And of course we have Herr Putin.. muddying the waters too!! Anyway.. it's nearly Christmas!! :)
If Artem could help shove V1 out the door first... I'm sure we'd all be very grateful mind!! :) Those of us with long memories... will be willing it sold and moved onto V2. Just had a look at my EUA buying history... ironically, 15th December 2020, I bought some shares for 42.9p!! Man.. those were the days... 4.29 almost today!!. Still, we live in hope!! :) GLA.
Cannot be easy drilling in -10degree temperatures... so, slow and steady for me... get it right, do it well... and see what the flow rates are, with no well catastrophes or crew injuries! Had too many wells with "things" stuck down them, so if it flows good, the SP should follow on a Northwards trajectory! Hold and topup is my plan. GLA.
Before the storm! If JA can pull off the finance... this should be much higher in build up to drilling! He's put a lot of his own money in... awaiting final approval of the finance now. This time, he might just manage to pull it off :) GLA.
All good points, but sadly they will fall on deaf ears... JP/Dennan et al, don't care one iota for the business! They will dangle the (supposed) 500m euro carrot of Slovenia to entice new investors... and keep the gravy train running. It will never happen.. nor will the ESG metals baloney in Cuba/Peru. It's a smokescreen, to keep the placings coming... and JP's huge salary in play! Sadly, nothing to be done about it.. it's AIM, and it's how it works... authority's don't care. GLA.
That... or the thought that back in the day, you would have had to spend upwards of £50k for them!! :) That's at the mid-twenty days... maybe they will recover to that, post-war... shall see, but it's a risk certainly to invest a fortune just now... but fortune favours the brave!! Best of luck Nic. GLA.
Personally... wouldn't expect too much before January... let's just get Christmas out the way, and take it from there... mind you, i've said the same thing Christmas 2019, 2020 and 2021 before now... without much occurring yet!! One Christmas, I will be correct - My main present this year will be Mad Vlad Putin copping a stray bullet to the noggin!! :) GLA.
Placing at 4p..to secure the Christmas bonus for JP and his cronies. Salaries must be paid!
True... but the thing on this board... is that there is generally something to talk about! ANGS post tweets and RNS updates very regularly... I'm in a few AIM stocks, where you don't see or get either, for months on end! So, at least talking (or bickering) about something is better than hearing nothing and being a mushroom... IMO anyway! :) Hold & topup. GLA.
Welcome back Portsmouth... for a small-holding anyway, like myself :) Sad you had to go out at such a low-ebb, but glad you're not like the other "hangers-on" here who sell up and then bombard us with negative spam, day in, day out! Very good luck for the future :)
