As others have said though it doesn't work like that, there's no benefit to buying before an administration would just be losing their money and in this scenario would have less money to buy it from admin against others.

As a general rule if the share price rises significantly it means crowman has a long position even if he recently said the stock is worth 10p. If the stock falls it means he sold at the top.

To clarify when I said quickly rather than slowly I meant money now is better because you can re-invest in other beaten down stocks etc.

Oxford most of the holders here I believe are bullish for the long term but ultimately if one is going to make money (which is what all investors want) it's better to do it quickly rather than slowly. Therefore I can't fault people hoping for a buyout on any stock they own.

In terms of losing big shareholders Jupiter seem to be selling everything so wouldn't call that especially THG specific and MM is probably pretty happy to have bagged so many more shares from softbank and also get more investment from Qatar.

No way is Matt M going to sell the safer division of nutrition to fund a more uncertain one of ingenuity commerce in this current environment.

I would love to say city spy is often right as his prediction would make me very rich but he has also at times given hints of things to come that have come to nothing. Him deleting his account is odd though. Does anyone remember exactly what his tweet said?

£2.95 would seem crazy relative to now, but not so much when you consider sp was 664p on 10th Sept 2021.

If the net debt figure is as they say it was (the rns' said that figure wasn't being queried) then that coupled with the fact they are in their best period surely makes an equity raise unlikely? The breach of covenants was only due to not filing the accounts on time, once they put them out late it would be seem unlikely they would be asked to do a raise as a kind of punishment?
Perhaps it might help that one of the creditors (I believe someone here said a major creditor but not sure) is also the chairman and major shareholder. He obviously wouldn't be wanting an equity raise at a low price.
It seems potentially an unusual situation where the target market seem to all know the brand which is popular so it's not like Made or Joules and the product is in lots of places. The issues are likely historical rather than now? Hard to know what happens in that kind of scenario.

UK market seems to be ignoring the US gains today for some reason.

I was thinking it will get over 80p but the Nasdaq finished on a bit of a drop. May be another drop in morning but can see it getting over 80p eventually tomo.

Nasdaq dipped just as the UK closed at 4.30. Has risen again 1.6% odd since, hopefully that means a good monday.

If this was the case unless they are going to get a good price for nutrition what would be the point in selling it. THG don't desperately need cash, it seems like a bad time to sell things atm.

27.7% gain needed to get to £1. Just 30 days ago on the 11th Oct we needed a 205.53% gain!
