Are there any companies in the world where everyone "knows the full picture"? To me it seems like people try come up with reasons to justify the fall in share price and usually blame management (as encouraged to by the endlessly negative press), but as the Liberum analyst pointed out, for THG "disclosure was excellent". This doesn't fit the narrative the press want to give out that THG is "mysterious" however.

Seems like most analysts are positive on THG. Bank of America valued each of the main 3 segments as more than current market cap back when sp was around £1.85 (so higher market cap than now). Is THG the ultimate low share price because of fear stock?

It isn't an outlier the average pt for THG is around £5.30. For ASOS is around £3.50

That's a great average Edwina, I'm very jealous...my average is around £2.15 and I still think I will do well here and may double my money or even get back to 500p simply by holding for 12-16 months.

So that was enough to drop it from £1.85 to £1.21? Bears try to come up with reasons to justify the fall but there aren't any, the profits miss and inflation should have been more than priced in at £1.85. It's just falling on momentum, anyone shorting since the results is just getting lucky (so far).

Musclehead whether or not the acquisitions were overpaid for THG have £2.2 billion in sales and project 22% to 25% growth for year plus the money for recent acquisitions was raised from a share price of 500p and 596p so arguably doesn't effect newer investors who got in below these prices so not sure how relevant your story is.

Yes Mumbo but my point is everything you have said has been being priced in for the last 6 months hence why growth stocks have been dropping since then. People are talking like there will be another drop when these things actually happen but the stock market doesn't work like that it is forward looking.

People are letting the sp dictate their views of management. If sp had gone up to 300-400p people wouldn't be saying "they got lucky with the bad management", they'd be saying "management really turned it around".

Market has been pricing in LOTS of future interest raises for the last 6 months. They are so priced in if anything market might rise when the rates rise in the same way as last time they actually fell when they dropped the rate because it was so aggressively priced in already.

Softbank already contributed $730 million of the $1.05 billion THG raised at 596p in May.

If they are able to they should do small share buy backs here.

Darktrace down 13%...thg down the most on my watchlist but its a bad, bad day.

Darktrace did it in Dec before even the brunt of this tech sell off it's an even better time now.

They should start doing share buybacks.
