Stockbrokerbelt, perhaps they are "meant" to do this, or it is best practice, but how strict is this "rule" really? For example it's best practice and part of the governance code to switch the chairman every 9 years however around 20% of companies exceed this.
Perhaps they will update in due course, to me the rumours are very specific, also both the times and betaville appear to have got the story from seperate sources and also the times doesn't even phrase it as a rumour or speculation just says it flat out as the article opening - "Private equity firms Advent International and Leonard Green are exploring a buyout of the beleaguered online retailer The Hut Group."
