It was 60 quid worth of shares dai not profit - so the profit is 9 quid at the moment lol

yeah trade account with bank in an isa. I cant work it out, sometimes the money is instant some times seems to take a while. It is showing as available funds in the account - but when I go to do a buy it shows no funds.

I should just leave some free funds in there 90% of my trading is done through 212 - but now and then I have a situation like this

it's more complex of course and with low mcap companies more volatile, especially on aim

you get long term holders who will buy in and just sit on it for years

long term investors, who also trade on the side, to try and build up their holding over time, with a goal of getting onto a free ride to reduce the risk of holding long term

and traders who just jump in and out

a lot of people buy in the run up to news if it is known about and expected and even rumoured about. When the news actually lands they are already in profit so sell out and wait for the next news spike.

the long termers who are also trading - will also sell ( some ) at this point - and buy back in later to build up their 'free' pot

lth will just sit and ride it out not caring what is happening now, they are only interested in where it will be in 2-3-5+ years time

as a general rule if it is rumour - or unexpected news - like the 27th oct rns ( when a lot of people were expecting another extension so SP had drifted this news was unexpected ) the SP rises

when the actual news lands everyone new it was coming it drops back till next news cycle

Current market conditions over last 12-18 months mean there are fewer long term investors, so it is skewed towards the traders, so this news sell off is far more likely to happen

of course this does not always happen! if it was easy - we would all be rich and sat on a beach somewhere not logging in here everyday😂

Yeah I am happy (mostly) with 212

plus I have my bank too I use. But I had no free funds in my bank. I did sell some to free up some funds but it takes a couple of hours for it to clear before I can buy again.

I'll see what occurs tomorrow I may buy some more through my bank

Well we go into friday with sp around 6p ( I won't say above cos as we know that is a whole other argument)

the company can just not allow that, so we will get the usual friday bad rns to knock us down a peg or two

I bought in at 18p as that would give me a 11.5% yield portion to be paid every month - madder!

for the sake of 60 quid I may as well leave it in a year or two - after all the 12 month high was 75p it would actually become a decent amount if it ever got back there

that SP shot up, mm's taking no prisoners. no chance to get below about 0.8 (unless you had huge billy big balls and bought in this morning before that second rns )

AMTE Power Plc

Financing Update

Further to its announcement (the "Announcement") on 10 November 2023, AMTE Power Plc (AIM: AMTE) ("AMTE Power", the "Company" or, together with its subsidiary undertakings, the "Group"), a leading developer and manufacturer of lithium-ion and sodium-ion battery cells for specialist markets, announces that it continues to progress, but has yet to conclude, the discussions referred to in that Announcement, which relate to an equity placement and a convertible loan note with the Equity Investor as described therein.

It remains the case that the Group has sufficient cash until week commencing 27 November 2023, however, on its own, this will not be sufficient to finance the Company through to satisfaction of the conditions and to completion of the Proposed Subscription of £2.5 million.

In the event that these discussions do not conclude positively it would be likely that AMTE Power would not be able to meet its financial obligations as they fall due, ahead of completion of the Proposed Subscription, and there would be no alternative other than for the Group to enter into administration or other form of insolvency procedure under which the prospects for recovery of value, if any, by Shareholders would be uncertain.

A further announcement will be made as soon as practicable.

The person responsible for arranging the release of this announcement on behalf of the Company is Anita Breslin, Chief Financial Officer of the Company.

Yeah 1 min chart looks odd, large upward spike then sudden gap down to even lower

5 min shows downard trend - but potentilly bouncing again now off the 5.8 could be another run forming
