RE: Noon Vol update post UT23 Apr 2020 14:12
Well I just break it down into simple language, then I understand it easily and no one thinks I'm more clever than I am. But if I wanted to buy a share in the morning in the hope of making a quick day couple of quid then I'd be more tempted by the stock with a 1p spread than one with a 10p spread (Given of course that all fundamentals were identical). So for me the tighter the spread the better. Not so for 'scalping trades', I get that but I'm talking about, as you alluded to, 'day trades'. So just tell me in simple language, why am I discouraged, as a day trader, if the spread is tight?
