I thought I'd read on here, a hundred times or more, that day to day prices don't matter. You being one of the main proponents of that argument. That being the case, why will professional investors not be 'chuffed'? I'd have thought, using your earlier assertions, that they would be quite indifferent to the current price fluctuations.

I thought there was a maxim 'The market hates uncertainty'? Yesterday when the information came out, albeit briefly via Twitter, there was no big sell off and this mornings RNS, however unsatisfactory the content, does no more than clarify what was known yesterday and gives the 'certainty' back to the market.

If you call 4p, on a current 22p stock, micropennies well good luck to you. It seems, depending on ones holding of course, that it could amount to a substantial sum. A month ago you were consistently using the term 'trading bungee' as your measure. Now you are referring the price back to the VWAP. You may tell me that the VWAP is the true indicator of price. I've always found the best indicator to be what price I can get at point of sale.

Why do you change your terms of reference to suit your own narrative, Tillers? On the 5th October you were saying 'The stock Still held firmly on that invisible 26 bungee elastic', but now, to add a bit of support to your current comments, you have changed the yardstick to The VWAP. Why not tell us all, just for the benefit of consistency, that it's now, one month later, trading on a very very stretched bungee at a different, lower, level? After all, the 5th October is not outside the 'eight weeks' that you've suddenly started referring to.

We are fortunate, Builder, to have someone as knowledgeable as Ian in our midst. We may otherwise be left thinking that in the sixties there were gangs of Teddy boys aimlessly knifing people in street fights. It was actually a good one to copy/paste because it is a long way down the economic history page. People might not readily find it unless they had had previous cause to visit, and become familiar with, the content.
