Incidentally Sandeep has now achieved his goal of extending Telfers life. He isn't under pressure to give anybody in the Paterson area a deal like Greatland negotiated with Havieron and the rest of our tenements.

I think part of this equation that has not been took into account is NC other joint ventures. Greatland have provided Artemis with aero magnetic data which Callum has seen and understands the potential of their tenement. If Sam Garratt, Callum Baxter and Lenigas are correct with the Pilbara plumbing scenario, then there's every likelihood Artemis and others are sitting on mineable assets too. This JV decision gives us at least a head start over the others and avoids possibly a less favourable bidding war where we are all are trying to catch NC eye and favour for having the ore processed at Telfer. It's good to have debate and I respect Badshahs Bluetigers view. I'm sure there are many other factors that we are currently oblivious too.

Geographically our 100% owned Scallywag is closer to Telfer than the eastern tenements and therefore logistically more likely to be turned into our next mine before 2031with all the benefits Telfer provides.
If you have listened to Rick Rule and other goldbugs we are on the beginning of a cyclical gold bull run that history tells us runs roughly ten years. It is therefore in the interest of GGP and its shareholders to select the juiciest lowest hanging fruit available and get cracking. I believe this will become Scallywag.
It's taken Newcrest 18 months so far to drill out Havieron and at present another 12 months is required to get to the pre-feasibility statement stage assuming that it doesn't get bigger?

Even if Goliath is the biggest deposit it could take 7-15 years to drill out and another 10 years before it's mined. Many of us will be long gone and pushing up Daisy's before then of which I include myself.

GH, CB and the BoD are tactically astute and nearly all over the age of 50 with the exception of geologists Mick Sawyer and Gemma Cryan. Personally I think they've made the best decision for themselves and the non immortals invested here.

Bamps- wouldn't surprise me if he influenced Sprotts decision to buy into GGP. He did say Sprotts have got four or so Aussie miners on their books and probably the reason he didn't mention them by name.
I've been sending Craig Hemke emails since August re Eric's ask the expert view on Greatland with no replies to date.
