Newcrest use Byrnecut for underground mining specialising in block caving. I've been patiently viewing their site since before Christmas and nothing is there yet although the webpage was altered last week leaving a gap. I'm also on their mailing list and received a courteous "No Comment" when I enquired some time back.

Released today this article is about Newcrest increasing the recovery rates in the concentrator flotation circuit. Gold and copper recoveries up by 3.5% and 2.7%, respectively, while reducing production costs.
I would imagine that this technology will be incorporated at Telfer if successful and applicable. Despite the share price I only see positives with the fundamentals of my holding in GGP..

I have been invested in Greatland Gold now for nearly a year around the 7-8 pence level. I'm a a big fan of Rick Rule and have submitted a portfolio of mining stocks that I supposedly hold.

A year ago Rick ranked GGP as a 3 before we even had our first maiden resource estimate and before we had 70% of the drillling results we've now had. Last week he ranked GGP as a 4 knowing we have 4.2 million ounces equivalent to date which he hadn't a scooby doo a year ago,. I've followed Van Eck and the Discovery Fund and Willem Middelkoops Twitter account regularly.

We have a fantastic maiden resource estimate that will only increase.

My conclusion is sadly, Rick and Middelkoop are mercenary and don't give a ****e about retail investors and the share price we are now at is manipulated, and they too will screw us. "Sit on your hands"# PaddyGall it maybe a long arduous journey.

This short video released last night shows what the geologists do for accurate drilling and prepararation of the rock chip samples for analysis. I believe it's a DDH1 rig in the background.
There will be a lot of this on our tenements in the coming months. I'm sure we or the Newcrest JV will hit something good on one or more of our other tenements and agreed with previous poster don't write off Scallywag.
