As soon as the extra 5 billion shares were added everyones percentage was more or less halved. Similar to what happened with the GDXJ though they disclosed the number of shares retained circa 8.6 million less than before the notification. The good news maybe if the want to maintain the previous percentage held they’ll have to buy more.

Also on another note the money of mine team are not fans of the GDXJ ETF. Trav said if you had invested £100K in 2017 in their ETF today would be worth £70K. Spray and Pray selected stocks he said.

My understanding is that the tailings dam is good to go, and the capacity increase for TSF8 will be ongoing and should be enough for at least 10 to 15 years.

Train 1 has been started up, at a reduced capacity and gradually ramping up while any restart issues are ironed out.

I’ll know a bit more in a couple of days after a chat but I believe train 2 was ready to start but a mechanical issue came up that will take 3 or 4 days to repair, then T2 will be started as well.

I’ve seen a picture of the stockpile (already crushed) ready for the mills, and it’s enormous!

I get the impression that lots of folks there are cautiously optimistic at worst, excited at best to be extracted from under the feet of a huge multinational, and in to the clutches of a smaller company that actually cares about Telfer and its future.

After working many 20 hour days I think it is highly commendable that Shaun has done two interviews with British based shareholders Sunday Roast and Liams Aim on Air, in preference to proactive and attending Beaver Creek. He must be absolutely cream crackered, and I bet his family have seen very little of him in the past few months. On top of that he goes home this weekend to pack his bags to fly to London to talk to UK based shareholders. If only more people could be as giving and optimistic with their time the world would be a better place. The bitter and twisted in reality will always be here until we have left Aim and join the main LSE and ASX index.

I’m not advising one way or another but their news release referenced a Havieron lookalike. Their chief geologist has only experience in oil and gas. Judge that for yourself. I wouldn’t ask a bricklayer to rewire my house so obvious red flags for me. But then again I know nothing about mining or exploration.

Take note he said there would be enough ore from Havieron and Telfer and not looking to process any other companies ore at present. A clear warning sign if you are Antipa, Artemis or Wishbone that a buy under is probably what’s going to happen if you have anything worth having.

The strip ratio refers to the amount of waste rock compared with the ore bearing rock. Simply explained; you wouldn’t spend $10000 to recover 10 tons of rock to recover $2000 worth of gold . This is strip ratio expenditures verses grade. That’s why they have a cut off grade where it becomes uneconomical to mine.

How do they get round this? Well Ausdrill were the contractor at Telfer. They drill in advance to sample and Telfer management decide if it’s economically viable. It’s not a lottery they know what they’re doing. Hence idiots like 9 make the kind of statements he does and also why he belittles Bamps. Because he’s a spiteful, selfish troll posting misinformation.
