Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
On thinking about it, actually quite positive. Fully funded for any bumps in the road and nobody has been fleeced. Also somebody on the inside is clearly positive about what is going on and confident. I would have preferred a different RNS that told us what the last one didn’t but maybe one day soon….
What is this plant likely to ‘emit’ that could be an issue? Does it smelt? Somebody posted a French comparison showing some of the technology a while ago but it resembled a school science lab, clearly chemical separation. What does this place look like inside? Is it a crusher like at the end of Terminator or is it more like a Sheffield steelworks? Or a chemistry lab? Or all three? Any insight would be welcome….
Positive yet not definitive. After the first thoughts here this morning nothing seems to have changed. We agreed it was good but odd and that is exactly what it’s been viewed as and it still seems nonsensical. It appeared to be the one we were waiting for but we are going to need an RNS to confirm it 🤪. But it has stimulated this board, there are the beginnings of broader exposure and something is moving, it’s just we are not sure what and it’s not the sp, yet. GLA, let’s see what tomorrow brings?!
Agreed. Very positive and although not quite what we are waiting for the network of industry contacts across Europe and level of expertise will be invaluable. Also the extra limelight is good for the current slow burn that surely should ignite very soon.
Why is it so hard to be honest? Our unofficial official guide from NHE has lied to his shareholders. We have not been informed of anything. Business strategy is one thing but just tell the truth, it usually works unless you have something to hide but we are all grown ups so let us decide..Lying used to frowned upon and get you punished, now it’s accepted currency. Still here, still hopeful but it’s just incredulous.
The timescale on such monumental changes is decades, not years. Oil/net zero is being propagated as 20/30 years and, let’s face it, the oil rich are not bothered. Therefore lithium and hydrogen and hopefully some Nobel research will take us forward in the days/years/decades…if we survive..to come.Gla
It is somewhat rig.diculous that the ongoing, very costly, soap opera here barely takes into account the potentially world class He resource that is globally significant. Finding this and CoS should be the essential risk yet for so long the point of this company and the reasons for it’s function has been lost due to trying to find bloody Nemo. It would be great if sometime soon we might be able to concentrate on the actual prize and the real potential risk/reward which was what many signed up for…GLA
RJ. I think most of us are fed up, one way or another and so feel the need to say something. It doesn’t mean we don’t want the same thing, just different tolerance levels and a few weirdos. I love Skittish’s satellite images and his real efforts to bring the board useful information. Where as you felt the need to whinge at the waverers, I was feeling the opposite at that time. Tomorrow I may be back to thinking that no news is good news. My post was just summarising what many might be thinking and have expressed and I used your inferences as a platform to launch. I’ve no intention of upsetting anyone, just voicing frustrations which I’m sure you must understand as a investor.
Dai. I appreciate that and I’m not arguing that it is good evidence of progress. My point was that “Genuine holders” know the situation and the idea that it is proper news. It isn’t, it has not come from He1 and the only information that us available is through information gleaned by PI’s. Therefore, however promising, it is still just speculation. If He1 had released the image then fair enough. Spending £10k’s ? It is not from the company it is speculative assumptions that include what the surface is made from based on colour. I need the hope as much as anyone, I was just miffed at the pious tone that suggested that everyone else is just spreading bad news or is I’ll informed and for negative reasons. That is not the case. Many have been through the last 18months and been routinely let down but are still here, it doesn’t mean that we don’t hope everything is going to plan just that we don’t know based on a lack of official updates. It’s always going to plan until it isn’t. I hope it is and the unofficial speciation and updates from Noble suggest it’s ok but that is NOT news, it’s speculation. No offence intended anywhere but it’s been a long road and a way to go..GLA
Wigster and Doc. Thanks in advance for your efforts again, let’s hope you are able to gain some positive insights. I also hope that over the next two years we will not be relying on you to try to find some snippets of hope and that the positive news flow will speak for itself…We can dream where once we thought it was just a matter of time…GLA
RJ.. How do genuine investors know that HE1 is spending money on pad prep etc? What is the current situation and are you basing it on the last RNS, Noble info or dd by posters? Either way, the current situation cannot be clear as it’s either way out of date or from other parties….
Apologies, poor stimulation. Here’s a more positive one…..Short to mid-term here 0-2 then 2/5 I would hope for exponential growth, that’s why we are here. Beyond that what is the picture? If by then there are three gigafactories in the UK, essentially built for nothing by the large corporate investors, surely they will want a steady, reliable source of lithium on their doorstep? Would it not be economic to have the capability under their own remit rather than outsourcing, ie TM1 buyout as a subsidiary? Does anyone see TM1 as a world leader/franchise etc? This is a 30 year programme if we haven't already sunk so what do you think Tata thinks?
I appreciate this is a lazy post but these are slow times and I’m sure someone has the info in hand. What is the current cash burn? If there were to be an issue with switch-on or some unforeseen processing problems how long would it be before the lack of anticipated income stream may become an issue. Not trying to be negative, just trying to stimulate a bit of board and bored conversation… and gain a little more insight.
