I think you are quite right The company has one major project in course only and it would not hurt just one in a while to issue an update to its shareholders It would not take a great deal of effort or time either and could be very beneficial if and when the time comes for additional shares to be issued

Whilst things can change all information / history / RNS to date back what calmtrader is saying . Company has no income so to be expected that finance is required for day to day costs - albeit they are modest and directors do not take a salary This has been case for some years and whilst possible finance provider could pull the plug - given that it appears possible that mining might actually start , I would have thought now would be an odd time for them to do so Just my opinion and that apart have to accept company with no current income - although large assets is a risky investment

personally would suggest that you dont put any money in that you cannot afford to lose totally There is huge potential upside , in my opinion , but also risk total wipe out I think worth a punt which is why I am a patient and slightly weary LTH Hope this of some help

At present rate of progress wonder if anyones money will ever be spent On realistic note gold is minor by product and not really worth worrying about Sadly I doubt if any LTH can assure you of how any development may or may not be financed That said the companys own website is full of useful and pertinent information and I would suggest 20 or 30 minutes studying and you will be as knowledgeable as anyone here

Your own prose in last post was not bad at all - your grammatical knowledge exceeds any effort I can aspire to Whilst I think we would like to seriously debate present position etc - most of us are well up to speed and in fairness the companys site is very informative so in absence of developments we would be going over old ground We could all remain silent but perwsonaly I enjoy reading the banter and contributing in like fashion On subject of lecturers - if they are on strike and presumably not paid should the students who have paid for the lectures be compensated for lectures they have paid for but not received ? In the vaccum I fear a degree of flippancy will creep in and personally each evening it provides me with a little light relief . Fair point and some lenders you are right would not be keen - depend on lenders criteria and guidelines Others as long as the loan was serviceable might be Thing to do would be to approach a mortgage broker . This would not hurt any way - and if a house equity release approach not possible then commercial loans could be looked at Approaching mortgage broker also have effect of seeing what else is out in market place and could actually confirm perhaps that the RBS various requirements are not unreasonable

Just a thought as it will be you hat - if all goes ahead - owns your partners share - why do you not remortgage one or other of your houses to release equity to buy your partners share . You can repay the mortgage using the profits that would have been due to your partner which you should now get If you can do this you will probably find it far cheaper than the complicated route the bank seems to want Before doing anything though I should speak to your accountant

Realistically would not expect any physical progress at this stage If this comes at all it will come when next study completed and finance arranged . Fact that this is a dormant mine is why share price is where it is and part of that on hope value All infrastructure etc will take time and money and admittedly at present apparent rate of progress will possibly take longer than hoped Robbie you do make valid points But given some of the posters who sometimes turn up here to create mischief - possibly your turning up 5 months after the site tour .Which was all it was not a day to encourage new investment led people understandably to question your motives . Bill has drawn no salary for several years As far as I know neither has he exercised any share options in the last three years He does have options to buy 1 million at 2p So he does have an interest in seeing the price rise What ever other faults he may be perceived to have greed at this companys expense is not one of them I hpe this helps

Perhaps you are right knee all you say But a bizarre chain of events 30 years in the industry and out of the blue you decide to visit a derelict mine. You then feel you need to become a poster at LSE to share your findings Why has this mine out of all those you could visit taken your interest then why this board to comment
