I think that is a really good point - it accepts that a majority - albeit small voted for out and then allows a choice on the terms

Perhaps in the future the government will stipulate for future referendums where there is a major constitutional change that perhaps 55 % plus of votes should be in favour of the change for it to take effect

The people have voted twice whetherwe like it or not. Once in the referendum and then to elect a government and opposition that promised brexit. Some people are calling for another vote others are not

Whilst the LSE boards are littered with shareholders convinced their holdings are under valued -i have to say my thoughts are exactly the same as yours .This share bumbled along at 3 or 4 pence on hope that some thing might happen for a long time . It does seem perverse that with very real progress being made the share has y dropped in price .

I suspect this is largely to do with the sudden large price drawing in some buyers for a quick profit - which some took and others having grasped this is more of a long term play have decide to move on . This giving a period of over selling

Simple fact is that a majority of those who cared enough to vote voted to leave rightly or wrongly -admittedly in UK as a whole by small majority, and now numerous politicians queuing up to explain why the leave voters did not know what they were doing etc- they had their chance to put forward a good case and blew it.

I think the truth of the matter is that the remainers were complacent did not research the matter properly and lay out as realistic an interpretation of the pros and cons as they could - same could be said of the leavers .

I think this led to large number of voters ignoring propaganda from both sides and voting with their personal beliefs and instinct

Brent - when the stocks were dropping last year and price rising it did prompt some mothballed mines to reopen which I would imagine helped slow the reduction and might have reversed it - this ignores any other influences re demand etc. If these mines are still up and running and stocks continue to decline perhaps interesting times ahead - as they are taking up what slack they can. Hopefully demand will continue at present levels and there are no more mothballed mines about to start up again. None of which of course matters if our BOD have gone into winter hibernation.

I would differ slightly in your conclusion in that if I were a buyer I would not want to spend 50 million to receive 50 million or thereabouts - that said If I had the finance and ability to make a go of it against the very detailed studies now in place I might be very tempted to spend 25 to 30 million. This to purchase an income streams over time equivalent or better than 50 million in today's money. Because also this would see the inferred resources of - from memory - as much again thrown in for free.

Accept the inferred may be less than estimated figure ( but they may also be more) against that the infrastructure to extract them would be in place from the mining of the known

On this basis an investment say 30 million now could then deliver 50 million with potential say 80 to 100 million.

Also once ( or if ) mine up and running nothing to prevent discussion with neighboring land owners which could further expand the potential

If parys sold and company continued to trade I would imagine firstly sale proceeds would be utilized to clear company debts then decision made as to how much to retain for working capital and future projects, if any

.Potential any cash then remaining could be used for special dividend or share buy back

Very difficult to even guess at a figure. Because there are often leaks from most company's, or their stakeholders or activity is noticed, it is possible that first sign of this would be steady but significant increase in buy orders.

Also if some sort of negotiations are taking place it is possible that might see some institutional interest on a small scale
