Mark it won't directly effect Bids share price but does show how the E-sports market is growing. If BIDS can get some real traction into this market then they could be the advertising front runner in a fast growing market.

And Smithy - these micro transactions you are referring to, the regulators are starting to clamp down on these methods of charging, companies will start looking elsewhere for revenue and it's been proven that in game advertising does not negatively effect the game play, in fact it has a positive effect on the realism.

Oh big, ASOS.... well let’s just say if you are under 30 then you’ve used ASOS. Although comparing bids to ASOS after there recent news doesn’t fill me with hope.

I think ASOS is aiming far too low for bids. I’m thinking more ftse 250+

No business is recession proof but those that will suffer most are those with vast variable costs and physical products.

If you produce 1,000 cars a week and end up only selling half when a recession hits then you’ll end up with excess products and high cost.

If people stop advertising through bidstack due to a recession then the revenue/profit figures get hit but at least they haven’t got huge costs to produce each advert.

The key for me now is to get enough traction that when the next recession hits bidstack is already a household name so has a much better chance at coming through reasonably unscathed

Has anyone mentioned the fact Microsoft are financial backers of AppNexus.

I use Vox as an idea generator and would recommend others do the same, you then look more deeply into the ideas you get from there and decide whether to buy from there, don’t be a sheep, if you lose money it’s on your head but if you gain money you know you’ve grafted and got your rewards at the end

So JW has sold some but has always said he has overexposed himself. With gold on the up and trump, Brexit etc who can blame him for changing his allocation to be more bearish.

But, I disagree with him when he says small caps will be hit the worst, large caps suffer most from fallouts. Small caps will be hit a bit but all it will do is divide the good companies from the bad

Agree with scaryone, this is small cap, there is rarely a straight line from 1p to £2!

14p was extremely expensive and overhyped, I’ve been averaging down since about 12p but am not concerned by short term movements. When you invest it should be for minimum 5 years, and in 5 years I see this company being many multiples of the current price, but during those 5 years there will be lots of moment when it looks expensive and it looks cheap, that’s investing unfortunately

Anyway, forgot to conclude: that’s a huge amount of players/viewers primed for bidstack! Have faith in James

There haven’t been any figure this year, but last years Esports World Cup was watched by 29million people; I imagine this will have increased as well as the YouTube views.

With google stadia you can pause the view on YouTube and jump yourself into that exact moment on the game. So if fifa was on stadia and you were watching Real Madrid v Barca, Barca down 3-0 at half time, you can jump into it yourself and see if you can turn the game around. This is crazy levels of gaming! Amazing!
