Well they put in the interim report 1st half revenues will be slightly more than last years full year revenues.

So we aren’t going to be raking it in. £200k maybe for first half?

But what I would like to believe is happening is an influx of enquiries from ad agencies, games and companies coming direct.... I would even take a buyout at 30p right now.

We know revenues aren’t there, but that’s the sort of news we need.

As an example, let’s say a meal costs £30, deliveroo take their 40% and deliver the food. Restaurant makes £18.

On the same food, they offer a 20% discount, and pay dish 50p. Leaves the restaurant with £23.50 but they then have to deliver themselves costing wages, vehicle costs petrol, all equating to more than the £5.50 they saved by not using deliveroo.

As a restaurant, using deliveroo is a much easier process.

I still don’t get this statement from Tanya,

If using dish the restaurants would have to give a discount, give dish the 50p and deliver the food themselves. I don’t understand how that would work.

I could turn around and say I’ve put £100k into dish. It would be a lie.

And if you’re talking about putting that much money into dish then you must be mad considering how much you have apparently invested. Diversify across companies/funds

I get that Sam but you also said you were planning on doing several tranches? If you keep waiting for the perfect price you’ll never get in as you’ll always convince yourself you can get in cheaper

You are a strange one Sam, you think this will go up to 4/5p and are debating over 0.1p.

Either you think it’s a good share or you don’t, if you think it will go to 4/5p then what difference does such a small amount make.

Yes bidstack will need a lot more then dish as they are churning through a lot more cash, well done on that one.

Annual report end of March 19 cash balance - £43k with £774k in liabilities. IPO costs of £274k which was paid by the cash raised!

You call it deramping, I call it reading annual reports and doing research, basing my findings off the previous actions at the last fundraise.

They “didn’t” need to raise cash that time either.

Because we are in lockdown, deliveroo doesn’t deliver to my area so that leaves me with just eat. I don’t think it’s a great service but there is no alternative at the moment.

Thanks Jstafford for a sensible answer, unlike Tanya who clearly doesn’t have a clue how any of this works.

I’ve used just eat a number of times and haven’t found it great, definitely room for someone with a better app and service to come in and take market share. Will be interesting to see how dish offer this service, maybe that will be talked about at the weekend.

How would delivery work? If dish charge 50p per meal they won’t deliver it, if the restaurant is offering discount they won’t make money delivering it.

If a restaurant opens up at 50% capacity due to distancing they won’t be able to afford to offer discounts, they will need fully priced meals due to less capacity.

Intrepid, they did talk about H1 2020 and said it will be more then full year 2019, so let’s assume £200k.

Getting that funding is key
