I agree JS. £250 a month, based on current model of 50p they would need 500 bookings a month for this to be justified.

Sure if this scaled up and the customers started flooding in then yes it would be worth it. But, I imagine the charge will be a lot less than that with a plan to increase the charge as the user rate of the app increases

Because JS it’s another pivot, this is around the same time they announced hyper growth last year, the proof will be in the pudding as to whether this succeeds or not but it’s another switch of styles

Can I ask what sort of funding everyone is expecting if it’s not equity? Some sort of debt, maybe a convertible loan note (which ends up being equity)

I didn’t know of the private client side but knew about the investment, hit and miss if I remember rightly but they will have done their research as has been mentioned.

So at first I didn’t think it was a big investment, but if it’s private client potential aim portfolios? Not sure if Herald do those, then it could be a small stake in each client portfolio therefore they will have gone through a rigorous process to make sure it’s the right fit.
