Fair point Broke about panic selling but, for example, if someone is being scared into selling at 34p now on Boo then I would argue the greater damage was done if they were 'encouraged' to buy at £2, £3 or £4 in the first place. I also just think the psychology of it means more are likely to be greedy and buy into the next 'good thing', especially if it has already risen a fair bit, than will be cajoled into crystallising at a big loss (and which could become even bigger anyway if they don't). It could be that people are also being put off investing in Boo by the deramping but they aren't losing anything (just not gaining what they might do). It is all debatable though, but in my mind much more damage is done by the rampers. Just my view though.

I rarely comment on people just quoting possible sp's as it's just meaningless. So I ignored the 14p as I ignored the £6.50. Both are very unlikely in my view but I would say the £6.50 is the more unlikely if I had to choose. Shoot me.

But I would admit that I tend to challenge the rampers more than the derampers, but for a simple reason. In my view (and I accept it is just my view) ramping is much more likely to lead to other people losing money than de-ramping.

Firstly if I posted about everything I disagreed with it would be a full time job. Secondly, it's up to me what I post. Thirdly, I posted about your post in particular as it was a response to mine. Fourthly, the 'derampers' aren't saying much anyway that looks overly pessimistic to me - they seem more focused on just engaging with the rampers. Fifthly, the 'bully brigade' applies just as much to the rampers as the derampers in my view, if not more so, though bullying is a strong word. Sixthly, I think any forecast which is more than double what Boo are suggesting would be overly optimistic in most people's book not just mine - especially on margins. Seventhly, I don't have another point - it just sounds nice.

That's more than double BOO's own forecast so forgive me if I view this statement as more than a tad optimistic.

Thank you for your opinion and advice Uncle Doug but I think I'll ignore it. I don't agree with that much of what DT says but it least it acts as an antidote to the blind, incessant ramping from some others.

I'll be very pleased if it is over a £1 in the near future as I'll be long gone by then too as I don't think this business can get back to the sort of margins that would justify a much higher price than this - could be very wrong of course. My average is 50p so if I can make a tidy profit on that it'll be enough for me. I think that's very achievable if they can deliver on their forecasts, and hopefully exceed them, but I won't be tempted to hold out for a lot more. It means I may miss out on more substantial rises but for me at that point there will likely be plenty of better opportunities elsewhere with much lower risk.

I’ve never shorted. I’ve never spread bet either (other than on sport). Your problem is that when you lie or make stuff up about people they know it’s not true so it’s easy for them to assume you’re lying or making up other stuff too - like the 90% claim (though to be fair anybody believing you there needs their head examining).

Tbf it may just be that he has a poor grasp of probability. Oh wait though, he said he was an ‘expert’ in that too!

So now you are saying you know, but not 100%, so you don't actually know - you just think. And you wonder why so many people struggle to take anything you say seriously.

But you’ve just contradicted yourself. You’ve said you can’t KNOW 100% and then immediately said you CAN ‘know’ (your word) for certain shares that there will be a bag to be had.

I’m saying you can’t, even for certain shares. Sure, you can have a strong view and be confident but you can never be absolutely sure. If it was possible even on just a handful of companies then it wouldn’t take long to become super rich. Life and investing isn’t that easy I’m afraid.

I do agree that MM’s can also be investors effectively but that would be a very risky game for them.

When I was referring to demand being strong I was referring to demand to buy and this being higher than the pressure to sell. I was not referring to overall volume as this doesn’t determine which way the price moves on its own - it’s the relative pressure between buys and sells - as PP1 has explained.

Every buy does have an immediate, equal sell - only one is normally to or from a MM. They then needs to balance their book - again as PP1 has described (else they will end up at too much risk of holding stock too long - or run out).

That's not the case mountainous. What you are referring to is what they said about DELISTING. The suspension will 'shortly follow' the decision to APPLY for administration - which means it could be at any time.
