Yes, it is right. Our assets are a bit south of this area and it will be years before this is acted upon. Still, it will curb any ideas of expansion in these areas I would have thought. I sold mine today, only bought back in a couple of days ago, too tempting to take quick profits. I will buy back if it drops back down over the next few weeks.

Total are a super major, they rush nothing. I can't see any drill happening till H1 2019. I am hoping Namibia will see a multi well, multi option campaign shared by Chariot and Tullow. Hopefully the economics will be so good that Tullow will elect to drill PEL 030 as part of the campaign. Q4 2018

There is no time span on the exclusivity. PVR and LOGP will give them as much time as is needed if they think they will conclude a decent deal

GBP's acreage not as attractive as ECO's. GBP management have sat on their hands for years doing sweet fa. I can't see them ever getting round to drilling anything tbh

That has blown all our predictions out of the water, quite a spectacular Q4 which has resulted in similar annual numbers to 2016. Profits will be higher as CPO prices were higher in 2017. Bodes well, particularly as they have taken more provisions to minimise downtime in case of plant breakdown and are just about to increase milling capacity by 25%

Well, I am v surprised how bullish everyone is considering how poor Q3 was and how poor the cropping is in Q4 traditionally. Power of positive thought I guess.

Well, some thoughts. Q1 this year was outstanding, even better than the year before. Q2 fell away due to mechanical/plant issues and some tonnage was lost so Q2 2017 was worse than 2016. Q3 was worse because of poor production volumes which seemed weather related. Those weather issues wont just disappear in one Q one would have thought. Q4 2016 produced 3260. Q3 2017 was 19% worse than 2016. So statistically speaking if the same pattern is repeated in Q4 we could be looking at 2640. Really tricky this one. I would be happy with anything over 3000 as this would suggest a definite positive shift in production profile.

we have had some fun with 'guess the production numbers for the quarter'. Any takers? Lots of long term holders here and people with some industry knowledge. It would be good to get a poll of opinions. I will have a look at past numbers and try and garner a bit of colour from the RNSs and put up a number a bit later. I guess we are not expecting anything too bullish as Q3 wasn't great and troubledtimes seems to think there are some rainfall issues (though I thought REA holdings were in a completely different part of the world?)

Production update. Production was poor last two Qs. Need to see signs of an uplift/return to that fantastic organic growth.

looks like Tullow are not planning to drill PEL 030 when they drill PEL 037 in September. At least they have made no comment about it so one should assume not. Guyana Q1 2019 unless decisions are made quickly by all partners i.e. Total needs to make a decision quickly if we are to see a drill in Q4 2018. I still think Total are getting this farm in a bit too cheaply. I was hoping ECO would have waited till the 3D results were out and then secure a 20% farm out for $20million. I guess I am just being greedy but heyho! We are still in a very strong position.
