Agreed Gibbo. It seems clear we have a MOU in Nigeria, Namibia and somewhere french speaking. Probably Tunisia, Lebanon or Morocco. They have 'promised' us Phase one ME and at least one more MSC this year with an African country. Just need to sign one to restore credibility and get some belief in the company. The basic business is clearly doing great, seems to have got to break even for 2018. Need to prove they can turn their aspirations into reality. Big sell followed by a big buy this morning, tick tock.

MMs and their games!!! Way too much nonsense is spouted about insiders and evil MMs. It's really simple. If there are more sellers than buyers, the price goes down and visa versa. Sometimes on very thinly traded shares they may raise/drop the price a bit to stimulate a bit of trading. This stock has been on a slow slide since the end of January. It is a retail stock. Retail lose belief, have v short time horizons, are always looking over the fence and other potential investments. They are ignorant re. how business and contract negotiations take place ( I don't understand the details but I can imagine the myriad of potential complications when dealing with so many different bodies/phases/agencies/governments). It has been a very long haul. We await the final bureaucratic sign off. Then we will get some reward for our patience and will get some facts/details/colour as to exactly it is all about and what else we can expect from the same client going forward.

I've been going through the two years of ME contract updates. Blimey, it has been a long and tortuous process! Two key statements stood out for me. The first from early 2017, 'A key focus of the business in recent months has been developing its several large scale long term potential project opportunities within the Middle East, including its previously announced major airport project for which the Company received a letter of intent during May 2016 and which is expected to have ANNUAL REVENUES IN EXCESS OF �35M, together with an ANCILLARY LARGE SCALE PROJECT for the same client as well as a SIGNIFICANT BORDER PROJECT in the same region.' The contract seemed to have grown out of control, like some sort of many headed Hydra . A 'basic' �35million pa contract, another large scale project (regional airport/port?) and a border contract. 9 months later and things have been rationalised and broken down into digestible portions, 'Whilst these negotiations have taken longer than expected, the Company is pleased to report that senior management, including the Chairman and CEO, have just returned from an extended visit to the country concerned and all but a few more minor commercial and contractual issues have now been agreed. DUE TO THE COMPLEXITY AND INCREASING POTENTIAL SCOPE OF THIS PROJECT, IT HAS NOW BEEN AGREED TO UNDERTAKE THE PROJECT IN PHASES, WITH THE INITIAL PHASE EXPECTED TO BE WORTH APPROXIMATELY �24M PER ANNUM TO WESTMINSTER. Any future extensions and changes of scope are expected to be subject to price revision.' Since then , everything has been agreed vis a vis the contract. Clearly, it became easier and simpler to sort out and agree without all the other inter-connected complications of all the other add ons. Now we wait for the final sign off. Due any time!! Soon! Imminent! etc. It looks like this fabulous an 'basic' contract is just the first course. There is the second part of the �35million PA contract to follow on as a potential 'phase 2'. That is a big chunk of business to get from �24million to �35million. About �14million/�17million PA. Then there is the 'ancillary large scale project' on top of that which is presumably another 'phase' and what presumably is yet another 'phase', the 'significant border project'. It makes me wonder whether the kit contract was connected to any of those added phases? Huge potential here, just need to get the ball rolling. Patience, as ever.

'The Group's Technology Division is expected to report increased revenues in 2017 to �1.8m, an increase of c10% on the �1.6m achieved in 2016. There have been fewer large, higher margin sales in 2017 and as a result the gross profit margin for the Technology Division was down to 19% in 2017, compared with 40% in 2016. As a result of the lower margins, the Division is expected to report a broadly break-even EBITDA result for 2017 compared to an EBITDA profit of �273,000 in 2016.' So, this would imply a potential 40% margin on this latest 'kit' contract. A profit of about $2million, most of it in the 2017 financial year, let's say $1.5million. Managed services which is nearly all SL, 'Unaudited revenues in 2017 for the Managed Services Division amounted to �3.6m' From the autumn onwards flights and numbers seem to be growing apace. We know that costs are relatively fixed so most of the extra numbers go to the bottom line. MSD could well bring in �4.5 million plus in 2017. With the ferry business consigned to the past, things are looking pretty good for WSG and this is before any of the multiple phases of the ME contract are signed off. Phase 1, subsequent phase(s), port and border opportunity. Just need Phase 1 signed off and up and running and there will huge interest in WSG. I expect to see a strong marketing campaign around the city and some II buying some chunks of stock. They've got to be watching.

They did offer up the 'hope' of an extended high season, time will tell. This is farming, you have good years and bad years. Anyone who grows fruit or veg will understand this. You cannot control the elements which are the fundamentals to yield. Q2 should give better numbers than last year. Sentiment will return then.

Q1 CPO income 2017 was about �12million Q1 CPO income 2018 is about �7.5million (forgetting about when it is sold). Serious hand brake on their ability to maneuver going forward.

Bit of a shame those numbers. Production way under last years and the year before numbers. Even worse is the 25% drop in pricing (it seems the link on the DKL website to local pricing cannot be relied on to show what DKL are getting). This is going to cause management to re-schedule plans and priorities. Not much spare cash about to progress Guitry, increase/maintain a dividend, purchase additional assets. It'll be interesting to see what they decide to do. I guess this the nature of a farming business. Reliant on local conditions for production and the world market for pricing.

A placee de-risking probably. More than likely with an agreed buyer at a set price. Sticky hands. Medium term play this one. We wont be at this SP when the drill ship is heading towards Barryoe next year.
