@Nanogeddon: The focus on share price is more about what it will look like after the trial in September. I really don’t think so that the people on this board invested in Nanoco are wanting to sell out now or if Nanoco is in the 40p range.
Again September is rapidly approaching and selling out now is like quitting a 1000m race at the 900m mark.
The main drag on price has been RG - and if you look at the trades which brought the share price down yesterday morning they were not even big in size.
Everyone let us drink tea, have faith in Mintz and Nanoco’s case and leadership and enjoy the ride.

I hold strongly and there are two reasons for that:
1. I don’t think Nanoco would have embarked on a year long campaign against Samsung if they didn’t sincerely believe that Samsung has lot to answer for - and pay for. I also don’t believe that they would have found a litigation funder if other sophisticated parties wouldn’t share Nanoco’s view. So far the Mintz team has been absolutely switched on - if they keep up the good work we are with a very good chance.
2. I recall vividly BT’s confidence in the Edinson May interview - confidence in the case and confidence that a win would be transformational for Nanano and I seem to recall that he mentioned “multiples of share price” - I don’t think BT had a share price in the range of 34-37 in mind when he said that.
Again some CEOs really hype their company but BT in my personal view is not a “hyper” so to speak.

I was frustrated today as I made two top ups last week at ca 36.6 and 37.5 and if I had waited a bit longer I could have entered at 35… even my top up at 35.5 this morning could have been a bit better.

However as someone who has worked in asset management for many years I know that the ideal entry point is rarely found - but hey if my hunch is correct and IF we win in September the share price could easily be in the 70s or 80s.

BTW: Yes Samsung can appeal but Nanoco can start getting injunctions in some territories so I don’t think that Samsung will carry on fighting as than both the PTAB verdict and the court verdict would clearly show them in what kind of mess they are.

@ Nanonano: If I remember correctly on the day of the PTAB verdict announcement during London working hours RG sold shares. Even back then I thought this does not make sense…
If he had held on for one more day he would have realised much more money….again I speak with the benefit of hindsight but this past sell would speak against RG knowing more than us PIs.

Hi Nigwitty, Sammy, I topped up again this morning and am happy to have done so - but still RG’s actions make no sense to me. Well I am not a shareholder in his funds so maybe should be too upset by his sells.

RG strikes me as a 1000 m runner who abandons the race at the 900m mark whilst being in the lead.

Doesn’t make any sense to me but I snapped up some more shares today at ca 35.5p - September is coming closer and this is all I have to say.

I just couldn’t resist having another bite at ca 37.5p.
September will be with us quickly and am a firm believer that the current share price offers a very attractive risk/reward entry point.

@BeContrarian: Actually that is a good sign. LODH for some reason (rebalancing, investor outflows?) might be reducing but as a private individual he shows his belief. Mind you he is not betting his house…

@Nigwitty: Sorry I don’t understand your last post at all.
Surely there will be a winner and a loser at the trial stage and this will be very clear cut.
Of course the losing party can appeal if they are unwise (just delaying the inevitable) but that’s that. At the end of all this there will be a party which might (behind closed doors) rue how all this panned out.

My gut feeling tells me that it will not reach 200 or indeed go below 200.
However on a bad day in the market this could be pushed down to the 270 level…
No rush to reenter Micro but also to say it will go bankrupt is overblown.

I was disappointed and surprised by the update this morning: Surprised that a tech stock would not be able to beat the comparable previous period despite Covid and the world being in a much better place and disappointed that revenue was not better.
There are some tentative green shoots in the update but the whole global economic and political situation is seeing more and more clouds - so even if Micro is turning around (so veeeeeery slowly) will the good news still be heard in the future and rewarded appropriately?

@woodelf: No takeover will take place - with the current level of debt and the middling performance no one will be interested

I exited the vast bulk of my Micro Focus shares with a profit of ca 7% - I had enough of just so so results

No one needs to be bitter and no one has missed the boat - at a price of 36/37p I can realistically see an upswing of over 100% from here.
There is a risk here as we are ultimately dependent on the trial outcome but if the ruling is in our favour good money will be made regardless whether you entered at 26p, 31p or 37p.

@Hawi: Due to today’s RNS we know it was LODH who sold on Friday.

Dear fellow investors in Nanoco,
Does it really matter to understand the share price movement of Friday? I don’t think it does as our opinion of the causes (and let’s be honest all we can do is guess) will not matter one single dollar.
The only thing that matters is the trial in September.
And should Nanoco accept a settlement I don’t think that they will base the sum on the market cap of Nanoco but rather what they see as acceptable.
Just my two pence of wisdom here.

@BeContrarian: You are definitely correct and the the work package plus the fact that we are now fully funded to 2025 pushed/kept us in the 40s.
Like you I think we are in the oversold territory right now but am hoping that we stay there for a bit longer as I am to increase my commitment to Nanoco later this month - I hesitated to do so when it was in the early/mid 40s but a price of 36-37p flashes a green buy light in my humble opinion.

So I had a look at the chart and we are roughly where we were after the day at the PTAB announcement. In the meantime there was some added excitement around Nanoco due to media coverage (Daily Mail, The Times, online news) but this has waned.
So everyone rejoice that you can top up further at a price in the high 30s instead of the low/mid 40s and we can all look forward to September.
If successful Nanoco will play a big part in paying off my mortgage ????

@Nanogeddon: In my case the answer is that I have no more funds - I was only able to buy more Nanoco shares by selling out of another position and to shift the proceeds into Nanoco. Other existing holders might be in the same position.
All I can say that at the current price Nanoco is very very attractively priced in my personal opinion.
I trust that the litigation funder will have made extensive research before funding Nanoco’s legal bid, the Mintz lawyers have been doing a very good job and last but not least the PTAB went our way.
Of course there is one major hurdle to overcome but this is looking good.
One should also not forget that BT has sounded very confident and my personal antenna tells me he is not someone to sound offf lightly so if BT is confident about commercialisation within 2022 I believe him.
Last but not least: The payout is not dependent on where the markets will be in September….so this is really a share that is in a way uncorrelated to the market.
Am I an over optimistic fool - someone please tell me.

@Hawi: You are not the only one smiling - so am I. I just sold all of my positions at a small loss in one company and invested all of the proceeds into Nanoco at a price of ca 36.6. I expect ca 80p minimum in September so will not only have made up my realized loss but a good profit.
