You can forget about the company. A management that has misled investors over months would just print out your email and construct a paper flyer for its amusement.
The FCA (website easily googled) would be much harder for Nanoco management to brush off.
I think the FCA should listen very carefully to Brian Tenner’s messaging and various statements about refusing any settlement that would not result in multiples of the share price.
In my opinion there is no doubt that Brian Tenner has shamefully and repeatedly…wilfully….misled investors.

@GigaWitt: Welcome as an investor to Nanoco where Brian Tenner has no moral compass whatsoever and who has deceived private investors over many months.
Oh and one last thing: Based on Brian Tenner’s presentations and Edison research for which Nanoco paid there was a rational case for an investment just for the litigation side - yes risky but financially interesting given the soundings that Brian Tenner gave.
We now know that he has shamefully misled (private) inv stirs and his credibility is in tatters.
For the benefit of anyone thinking about investing in Nanoco: DON’T DO IT. JUST DON’T DO IT.

PS: Now that GigaWitt has invested he will try to lure new investors in as he is now on the other side of the trade but don’t be fooled.

What happened over the course of weeks here were investors exchanging views and there were many longstanding Nanoco investors involved so don’t even try to paint that it is only short term punters that are outraged.
I got in at the low 30s on overall average but this does not deflect my anger which stems from Nanoco management having misled investors over several months here.
If you can’t see this and can’t understand why people have every reason to feel angry and dismayed at Brian Tenner than you can’t be helped.

Dear all, I can urge you not to believe this deeply discredited management and board. It only has its own interest at heart and not yours. If you can exit at no or only a small loss that would be probably wise - there are other companies out there with more honest people at the helm than Brian Tenner.

Brian Tenner has misled investors over months - there is not even a shred of a doubt here.

My point is that Brian Tenner lured even more investors at a time when he already knew that USD 50m would be a good outcome as he tries to portray it.
Brian Tenner has taken investors for a ride and for this he deserves all the contempt in this world.

What I find outright frightening is the guts of Brian Tenner to even try to portray this outcome as positive. I mean this is positively spitting into the face of investors - many of which he lured in with a fund raising at 37p …so at a point where he already thought that 50m would be good.

Health warning to all current and future Nanoco investors: Don’t believe a word Brian Tenner is saying as chances are 99% that what he is saying is not the truth.
I learned that lesson today.

Investors were deceived. I don’t think that anyone needs to give the benefit of the doubt here.

@Ecclescake: If you believe that management is up for it can you explain to me and the vast majority of Nanoco shareholders how you can reconcile or even begin to reconcile Brian Tenner’s messaging and today’s debacle?
And how anyone in their right mind can trust Brian Tenner going forward? Very much looking forward to your thoughts.

@Tornadotony: Nanoco’s research and products are good otherwise Samsung would not have “borrowed” it.
What makes me angry is that Brian Tenner has repeatedly misled investors. If you go and listen to the past company presentations you will not be able to reconcile today’s outcome with any of the previous communication from Brian Tenner.
This is why I have no faith left in him - and would urge others not to have any faith either.
He can now try to deliver on commercialisation of the first product but in my view this would be merely the first baby step to his rehabilitation.

Maybe in 2024…. If you still believe management which I wouldn’t advise.

Haha good joke GigaWitt. If Nanoco had taken this to court we would have realistically at an award for the US alone of ca USD 350m … consisting of lost US revenues of USD 200m times a multiplier of 1.5.

If you believe in Brian Tenner after today’s debacle you believe in the tooth fairy.

The fundamental problem here is that there cannot be any trust left in Brian Tenner. He simply has to go after this debacle.
