I would encourage other Nanoco investors who also think that serious miscommunication has taken place to contact the FCA.

We as investors need to make sure that our grave concerns are being heard by authorities that can take action and sanctions.

@GigaWitt: It is not about me as much as you try to make it out. Brian Tenner has misled many many investors over several months and if the FCA wants a clean marketplace it must ensure that investors are not deceived.
I and I know others will contact the FCA and they can afterwards look into this carefully and see whether and if any action against Brian Tenner needs to be taken.

@GigaWitt: There are many Nanoco investors who have every reason to feel betrayed and outraged as this is what Brian Tenner has done. Now I and others will not let that rest as much as it would suit you for your own investment purposes.
Brian Tenner’s past communication and the result that he agreed to must come under the scrutiny of the FCA as deceitful behaviour by a CEO cannot and should be tolerated.

As long as the FCA will take a hard and serious look at Brian Tenner and afterwards take up some of his precious management time to talk to him.
After all with no commercialisation orders to be seen he has loads of time to answer questions from the FCA.

Oh and I understand you: You went long Nanoco and now try to protect a deceitful CEO not because you think he is great but because you don’t want any light shone on how he repeatedly misled investors.

They have been waiting for months for a commercialisation order from their European customer and even with this customer it could only be a small order.

Everyone else do do believe any of the hype. Nanoco is a busted flash and I say that as a shareholder!

I could underwrite every word you said - and really couldn’t add anything.
I managed to offload ca 15% of my holdings between the infamous 09.01. RNS and the capitulation RNS of 03.02.
I will sell the 85% remaining over the next few months.

As Feeks has clearly demonstrated management only thought of themselves and as an investor you just don’t want to be part of such a company.

As to Brian Tenner he is beneath contempt.

I will contact the FCA next week as I think they should take a long hard look at management communication and the result. This needs external scrutiny.

@Ginodog: I have been investing for ca 6-7 years and this is the first time that I believe I have been intentionally misled.
Thankfully my average is in the early 30p range and hopefully I can break even. However the respect and trust in Nanoco is gone - just gone.
If someone misleads you repeatedly chances are high that they will do again.
Brian Tenner has totally discredited himself and needs to go.

For me equally fateful and outright depressing is that Brian Tenner has repeatedly misled (private) investors and quite frankly who will still trust anything he says now?

I certainly don’t and I will only give credence to commercialisation once I see an RNS with hard numbers of the material ordered etc.

Right now this is a pie in the sky share.

Hahahaha….the intentions of this management is not even worthy the paper it is written on!

Quite frankly Brian Tenner has no credibility left - certainly not among the current investors whom Brian has:
A) misled by repeatedly inflating expectations and making promises
B) betrayed them by entering a settlement that basically was a complete and utter capitulation and contrary to all the spin Brian tries to put on it does not even properly compensate Nanoco for lost revenues in the US alone - and certainly not lost GLOBAL revenues.

Anyone still believing what Brian Tenner is saying still believes in the tooth fairy.

And here my financial health warning: DO NOT INVEST IN NANOCO- JUST DON’T!

@GigaWitt: Anyone who believes that external customers would get involved in this needs to think twice. The whole marketplace knew that Nanoco was funded until 3025 and that an external litigation party was paying the bills so Nanoco would not have gone under.

Forget about the commercial order - this is just another ploy by Brian Tenner to pull in retail investors.
So after the first major inflection point in shareholder value (words of Brian Tenner) will the second major inflection point bring a further fall of say 20% in the share price?

@Mattyboy: Good question and just shows what a set-up this is. Either these non core patents are very much core patents or Samsung sees value in them that Nanoco fails to see.
The whole settlement is a complete and needless capitulation.

It doesn’t matter any longer. Samsung are de facto dominating the market and Nanoco will not find customers in this segment.
This was a fig leaf to make out like we salvaged something.

@clairesmith: You are very much mistaken. Samsung has grabbed all it wanted for USD 150 million. Samsung will not pay Nanoco one single penny in the future.
Nanoco’s inept and dishonest management signed away the fruits of many years of labour at a laughable price - the market reaction speaks very clearly what the vast majority of people thought of the “deal” - nothing.
If you can exit Nanoco at no loss than do this - this company is a busted flash and run by a CEO whose words cannot be trusted.

@bonzoful: I am angry as I can 100% relate to what Nanogeddon is saying. I picked up on the slightly apologetic tone of the infamous 09/01 RNS and how BT and others were trying to shift responsibility for what had been accepted to advisors…
This alarmed me somewhat but than like Nanogeddon I recalled what Brian Tenner had put out as messaging (global in nature, for the full duration of patents, only accept fair settlement etc).
Despite expressly saying all these things he shamelessly and brazenly proceeds to act against the word he gave investors.
Brian Tenner: If you read this hang your head in shame if you know the meaning of this word.
The way you have deceived the investors in a company led by you stinks to the heavens.
As you can read people will be contacting the FCA as this is where this whole case belongs.
