@GirlyBR: I agree that the Samsung settlement is very disappointing and miles away from the messaging that BT gave to investors.
The only positive aspect is that Nanoco is now a well funded company.
In order for BT to regain some trust (if possible) we need commercial orders. Again the RNS signalled that these are “near terms”. Quite frankly for me this is the last opportunity where management can redeem itself and try to heave the share price to the May equity fundraising share price of ca 37p.
The next two, three months will be important.

@ddubya: Funnily enough I am optimistic that orders will be secured but for me the size of the orders/duration of contract will be important and/or the monetary value. We need clear figures in a RNS.

@Konar: I believe LD… she is a scientist and wants to get things 100% right. I have rather this approach than a lot of hype only to crumble under scrutiny or not being borne out by data.
If she was glowing with excitement and confidence as some have said was the case at the AGM that is sufficient for me.

Well another director did a small buy yesterday or the day before…but I want to see the CEO doing this especially as he again used the word transformational in the final RNS.

@Peregrinetrouser: Sometimes a meaningful director deal (buy!) of ca GBP 80k would speak much louder than words. That would demonstrate faith and commitment by people who are best placed.

Why should it after the capitulation to Samsung? Who wants to celebrate the deliberate deception of shareholders by Brian Tenner?

There seems to be some concerted selling on by an institutional. Does anyone have a clue who that might be?

@Carlos, No I am actually pre Internet generation but some people have such an inflated opinion of themselves coupled with a rather insufferable arrogance that I thought it important to point out this glaring grammatical error.
Again these kinds of errors can happen but if someone commits them who has been crowing here for days than the temptation is too great.
I am now properly out here until we have the next RNS.

@Nanonano: Sorry to hear that but completely understandable. The Nanoco board used to be the best and there were people like Hawi, Feeks yourself etc around - and even more critical people (ie of Nanoco’s settlement outlook) such as Flying Higher.
Right now too much bickering with too little substance.
It didn’t work out for many Nanoco investors but my thanks to so many here for your thoughts.

I also sign off but here my final warning to potential Nanoco investors: Brian Tenner will be happy to have and maintain impressions out there that are not backed by reality. Overall I would encourage everyone to be extremely wary of his words.
Don’t invest on the back of his promises or paid research and if you invest do so only if a RNS is released with some proper hard business news - everything else is fluff.

Unfortunately what GirlyBrianT has posted is a prime example of how communication and expectations was managed by Brian T.
I mean even when talking to analysts of major investment banks did he not introduce a more nuanced and realistic picture as even back then he must have had USD 50m in the back of his mind.
And I understand all about time value of money but what about all the time value of money that Nanoco should have received years ago?
The settlement was a capitulation and it doesn’t matter whether you put ketchup or Mayo on it.

I know that this wasn’t the point Ginodog but given how all the fine words worked out for the settlement I and others will now not take management words or broker notes as the basis to invest or stay invested but only hard, clear business successes communicated in clear unambiguous language in RNS.

@Ginodog: We don’t have one commercial order yet …not even a small one…hints were made before year end 2022 and we are now in February.

I don’t share your opinion and the low share price does not point to bullish expectations.
