Happy to repeat previous thoughts "MM's" ARE NOT "killing us". Supply and demand, price goes down until a buyer is found. The MM makes the trade. It is as simple as that.

We have absolutely no evidence of the mysterious "seller". there are now extra shares in issue which has created a far more liquid market than pre the Placing. Happy Days. Normal market activity for a very topical investment sector.

You could equally argue it is the very nervous and uninitiated "investors" who are causing the share price volatility!

Surprised there hasn't been more comment on here about this line from yesterdays RNS "In due course, details of the design, implementation and timing of this novel study will be disclosed more fully. "

This clearly indicates there will be another RNS (or similar) well before June.

Hi AidanCornwell - please offer evidence to support your view of "a seller". This line is constantly trotted out on this and other sites by PI's with no proof of statement. What I am seeing is, yes, a lot of sales of very low value. Institutions are not going to be selling a few grand of stock here and there. Believe me it is just not what they do. Far more likely that PI's are taking a little bit off the table. Regular sales of a couple of grand here and there WILL dent the share price, but nothing to do with "a seller" as implied.

Hi ChrisToffer - Understand your sentiments. Agreed there is no direct competitor, and yes potential subjects of the at home trial should be plentiful, BUT the delay will mean that the outcome results will be delayed. My observation was more aimed at focussing investors minds on the distinct possibility that the share price is more likely to drift for longer. There is unlikely to be a sudden sharp uplift in the sp as we have seen previously. This is a longer haul outcome. SNG have still been able to fast track their offering, and this Pandemic will undoubtedly speed up the route to market - but we should all remember this has taken 10 years to reach this point thus far.

Now that is what you call a delayed trade from Monday..........................someone putting their hand in their pocket to the tune of £225,000 to acquire 3,000,000 shares. That is one confident investor in ZAM's prospects.

Whichever way you read the updated trials exercise announced yesterday, this will delay reporting.

In effect SNG has gone from being ahead of the competitor products to behind. They have not even started sourcing this new cohort of at home patients and the process, as described in the announcement is not straightforward to apply in the field. I think we should prepare for further setback in sp over the coming weeks. The results are unlikely to be available until after lock down has been relaxed - more of which we will here from BJ this pm.

Andymlloyd, Are you seeking good news, no news or disappointing news? When the news does drop there is absolutely no guarantee it will be what you are seeking. As we have seen today with Bergenbio, positive news can double the share price in a matter of hours. So what would negative news do? This is AIM and these are unique times for making good money (or the opposite). Just saying.....................be careful what you wish for.

Hi Ghia. No the end result is quite different. The Bergenbio treatment seeks to zap the offending virus cells from replicating in the host. The SNG treatment, as we all know seeks to "upregulate lung antiviral defences." Very different approaches.

Titania. Yes, depending on how the trial is to be conducted. SNG and Bergenbio approaches to the same CoVid19 conundrum are quite different. SNG have only two products. LOXL 2 under licence to Paramxis and SNG InterferonBeta which they have been fine tuning for over 10 years.

CW25 - hands up I bought at 6.35p and 7p. But still holding long and strong. No need to trade or take profit now, comfortable in waiting for the final outcome which should see share price jump by multiples from here on positive outcome. Will the outcome be positive? Probably yes, possibly no.

Ghia, do you not find it a tad frustrating that some on this site want to email the CEO at times like this? It is highly discourteous and self serving. Let the chap get on with his day job I say.

Shpunken - Agree with you. The maths tells us, that after the full placing the share price should have settled at about 38p, on no news. On this basis the current share price at say 54p, still represents a very healthy c50% premium to the placing price. Shareholders that bought on any of the spikes will be sweating for sure. And this is where the dyor element of investing comes into the equation.

Dealer55, putting fingers to keyboard. Oilornothing is correct, this is an investment not a day trading share. Management manage for the benefit of all stakeholders - but would probably exclude the rainbow chasers. And for the record I am long and strong here.

I hope Mr Banks lets management manage the company and not divert their attention at this critical time in Iofina's development (or offers £5 per share for a takeover!).

Despite the obvious headwinds, ZAM seems to be tidying up its financial affairs and still feeding the nation. Doesnt look like (from a very far distance) that the Covid19 pandemic has hit Zambia too hard. Are any on this board living in Africa?

I have held shares for a good few years and like the company a lot. Good progress has been made year on year but never reflect in the sp.

Where can we listen to this announcement?

Iodine is a prime chemical for disinfectants. The Iofina website tells us this. Disinfectants are in strong demand. Iofina's prime business stream is the production of Iodine and yet we do not seem to be hanging on to the coat tails of this CoVid19 healthcare rush. To date IOF have made no announcement of our involvement. What do others think?

It does surprise me a little that no poster has mentioned the possibility that the trials are not proving as successful as possible and this explains the downward share price drift. Because the trials are in the semi public domain, any success would have been "lightly" leaked. Double placebo or not. Our Man in Melton had no impact at all on the sp. And while an RNS could most definitely arrive at any time, the formal Trial Results are not likely to land for another fortnight at least.
