Good knowledge itshenderz - basically the annual report for Synairgen has NEVER been published this late into May. Curious.

Hopefully my optimism is based on external factors as opposed to crystal ball gazing. Today I was privy to a leading asset managers outlook for value enhancing companies over the next two years during and immediately post CoVid19, and they specifically mentioned nickel (nb not AMC) on the basis that swathes of the population have seen the earth regenerate during the current crisis and will simply not want to go backwards. They cited the ev evolution in cars rapidly becoming a revolution and were investing their client money accordingly. Perhaps, just maybe this time is for real!

There is no logical reason (that I can think of) why any algo, bot or blackbox would be programmed to trade such minute lots. RedLee and others are well versed in the mining strategy but trading sentiment can also drive share prices. Sadly, I am becoming fixated seeing these trades dribble through day after day. Having been invested here for 12 years perhaps that is the only excitement we are going to get!!

The small trades are unfathomable. They only started about 12 months ago and have been numerous and multi trade consistent ever since day on day. They should be algo's or black box automated dealings, but for the value attributable to each trade many, often and numerous at less than £50 - what the hell is the point. Unless, as has been mooted on this board before, there is a genuine code in there somewhere to a third party. But why not use a text on a non traceable mobile.

To my knowledge no one has ever been able to offer a pragmatic reason why. It is baffling and I do not see it with such intensity on any other shares BB.

Is it possible that monotonous low value buys can take the share price higher before a willing seller offloads at a slightly higher price. But even that seems very convoluted.

Bonkers. You follow a share through thick and thin watching the 1,5,9,10,20,30 single share trades go through the book over many months and then there is today. I have less idea about this stock than I have ever had.

You could wake up tomorrow to an RNS indicating a takeover at 25p per share and it would not surprise me one jot (or we could be bust).

Fascinating buy, and this follows on from the 3,000,000 share purchase on 28th April @ 7.50 pence. This should underpin the sp nicely, even though the RNS on 4th May was anything other than upbeat. OR, was it just mischievous?

For the record these are the dudes who hold 11.69% . For those interested, why not just email them to ask what their intentions are with regard to Synairgen and report back.

Agree with Deal3r. Asset/Fund managers run extremely strict criteria on selling down investments in profit, and often apply strict stop losses on their investments to the downside. They may also be legally restricted on shareholdings both by % in their fund, and % held in an underlying investment according to UCITS rules. They do not operate with the same level of bravado/recklessness as PI's and that is why the vast majority of invested individuals use collective investment schemes to mitigate risk. Synairgen is an AIM stock that in January was a 50/1 outsider in a 25 horse race. Sometimes, just sometimes the outsiders come home first. Perhaps that is what people find so vexing.

Synairgen are already well ahead of the curve in terms of patient in trials, time to completion and necessary approvals. They are not waiting for rapid antigen kits, they already have a supplier, and that is why they were able to roll out the home trials immediately. Those home trials will be happening now with a reasonable/probable expectancy on results. Synairgen have been at this "problem" for over 10 years.

Qd22 - Agree. And significant that the other trials were still open to recruitment. Suffering from CoVid19 which of the trials would you opt for? Tried and tested or the truly experimental.

Completely agree tricky752. Synairgen has not suddenly burst on the scene with a revolutionary or repurposed medication/drug. They are continuing to do exactly what they have been doing (well under most posters radars) for the past 10 years+. SNG's interferon beta product has already been through different trials successfully (without cutting any corners). They have been testing efficacy against Coronaviruses since 2014. Medical trials take an extraordinary long time ordinarily. The current CoVid19 pandemic is just a perfect storm to accelerate what the company and wider medical profession already knows about their product. Happy days if some people make a few bob day trading, but the likely upsurge will benefit the investors as per the CEO's statement. You ain't going to catch the sharp uplift if we double (or more) on the right announcement through day trading. Wishful thinking perhaps, but probable more than possible. As others have pointed out over the last few weeks, there will be opportunities in the pharma sector during this crisis to make serious money, and yes even "once in a lifetime" money making, life changing amounts (while saving lives).

A-dog1 - No one better to brief from an outsiders perspective than RedLee and TrickDicky Two. The asset is there, it has a value and should be realised sometime towards the end of this year, very early 2021 otherwise all bets are off. Should be worth a speculative punt of anyone's money. I have been sat patiently on this (with others) for over 10 years now!!!!!

K-mac - that site is not about promoting SNG, it is all about promoting themselves (SWS). They have a BOT that simply picks up on any companies traffic activity at high levels and know it will then be picked up by posters who are diverted to their own site. But that's the yanks for you. No shame.

That is an institutional buy. Very good news indeed. Pause for a moment. £600,000 invested in an AIM stock (Synairgen) at 60p. Why have they carried out this trade?

Duble D - Do you have any evidence to substantiate your claim? Watching the trades pass through I am seeing low value trades in great number but that is not the same as "someone selling stock in large amounts". Happy to be proven wrong.
