Give or take, this "donation" is twice Synairgens market Cap!! Anouncement an hour ago from Pharmaphorum. So what price Synairgen with a proven product?

"A US government agency is to give a further $472 million to biotech Moderna, after it announced plans to expand a phase 3 trial for its potential COVID-19 jab.

The latest funding from the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority follows a tranche worth $483 million, awarded to kick-start development of Moderna’s mRNA-based vaccine codenamed mRNA-1273 in April.

Moderna has decided to expand the number of participants in a phase 3 trial after discussions with the FDA and with the Trump administration’s Operation Warp Speed.

The total number of patients involved in the phase 3 trial will be 30,000, and total funding awarded is around $955 million."

When you are invested into the second most traded share on the stockmarkets (by number of trades) behind Tesla, with a rising share price, and rapidly approaching 1,000 trades before 9.00am on a Monday morning without any news, there just might be some clues there. Oh yes and we have a therapeutic remedy for the most virulent illness in the modern day era. Try and put a value on that.

Novice20, please note that the share price has not been on a rollercoaster for a few months. It has been on an upward trajectory for a few months. A buy in price of below 10 pence was easily achievable in January compared to the current sp of 210 pence. The best source of information is to read the RNS releases from Synairgen over the last 10 years and read a few of the more knowledgeable posters on this site. Avoid the snowflake keyboard warriors, they will teach you nothing.

Agreed. I am not sure that all posters on this Board genuinely appreciate the number dynamics at play here. This is a once in an investing lifetime opportunity. Words are cheap and lets see what happens over the coming days/weeks but it is inconceivable that we will not partner/be bought out, but at what price is the biggest conundrum in my 35 years investing lifetime. As soon as the enormity of CoVid19 blew up in early March RM on video clearly stated "this is our time" - and so it is. These guys knew their product worked through Sars & Mers. The awaited COPD output will be positive, they have already successfully proved that years ago - all information in the public forum (anyone can check out the RNS's going back many years). Having been invested here since 2011, the last couple of weeks finally vindicated my long held optimism!

So what value then for a therapy that has been proven to work and has successfully passed two clinical trials? Some of the early posters claims of £5 - £10 per share could soon prove to be an underestimation.

Share price back to the placing level and seriously testing the metal of retail investors. Volume dropping away as we approach results day. It's like the start of the grand national with everyone jockeying for position. I genuinely tip my hat to the traders because this share has been a dream over the last 4 months. Not my bag at all but remain excitingly invested.

The quality of the opening narrative from the RNS issued this morning in relation to the audited final results is far more concise, clear and illuminating than I have seen hitherto. This is starting to bubble up nicely. There is a clear and positive direction, well amplified and it looks like the introduction of Adam Habib and Tom Bowens takes us to another level. Can we get a little bit excited yet please?

The Company is fully focused on the completion of the TEO and BFS and have undertaken considerable work during 2019. A good start has been made and there are some high value outputs to be expected in 2020, namely:

• Updated resource and reserves, incorporating results from the highly successful 2018 field season. The Company expects that this will substantially increase the current JORC mineral resource estimate of 155.1 million ore tonnes

• Optimised mine scheduling. The Company expects that this will substantially increase the open pit potential

• Copper concentrate metallurgical test work. Should a separate copper only concentrate be achievable the increased market payability for both the copper and nickel streams will substantially increase the project economics

• Updated economic model incorporating the impact of the points above

26m shs traded before lunch time. There finally feels to be a real positive momentum in the direction of travel here. The onboarding of Habib and Bowens appears to have brought fresh impetus and motivation to crack on with unravelling the intrinsic value. Others have ably commented many times before RY is a geologist not a commercial man. He has undoubtedly provided all the leg work to get us to this point , and others will now see the project across the line for everyones benefit (including shareholders?!).

I have enjoyed my 12 years + sat wondering whether my pension fund was in safe hands!!!! Was never in doubt - wry smile.

Couldn't resist topping up again at the placing price. The market must be very tight for Synairgen shares in any volume. I only bought 20,000 via HSBC (should be liquid on their books), but the trade had to be processed in two tranches of 10,000 at 35p & 36p .

Decent. Thats a bit more like it, a single purchase of 1,000,000 shares at 1.19p @ 1300hrs.
