This 17% drop is priced in currently I feel. Retention of dividend gives me comfort. The yield stands at staggering 10%. We are still churning out significant amount of profit even with the dip counted in.

Agreed. They are fine. They have enough cash to see them through summer. Have £300m extra for next winter if needed. Airline sale in advance mode. Support from lenders and investors. People are just scaremongering.

Fosun (owned by a Chinese billionaire) owns 18% of Thomas Cook. They simply won't let this go down without a fight. There is also the credit facility recently put in place and sale of airline business is not far. I hate it when people start scaremongering for their own benefit.

bigsmoke - you need to look at Metro's business model, completely outdated. IMO I highly doubt if they survive long term.

I think tomorrow we will have better sales than Q3 and SP will continue to recover after last week's decline due to macro environment. In any case, current SP is so low there is nothing to lose. Hope tomorrow brings good news!
