The floatation of CHSS two days after OHT further demonstrates that there can still be a good investor appetite for an interesting new issue, even in the current challenging market conditions.

Houthi official says Yemen peace talks made progress, further rounds planned

RIYADH/ADEN, April 14 (Reuters) - The top negotiator of Yemen's Houthi movement said peace talks with Saudi Arabia had made progress and further discussions would be held to iron out remaining differences.

In a significant confidence-building measure, the conclusion of talks in the Yemeni capital Sanaa was followed by an announcement on Friday from the International Committee of the Red Cross that the warring parties had begun an exchange of nearly 900 detainees.

Saudi Arabia, which leads a coalition that has been battling the Iranian-aligned Houthis since 2015, is seeking a permanent ceasefire deal to end its military involvement in a war that has killed tens of thousands of people and left millions hungry.

Houthi chief negotiator Mohammed Abdulsalam said on Friday the negotiations with envoys from Saudi Arabia and Oman, which is facilitating the talks, had been "serious and positive".

"There was advancement on some issues with the hope of continuing studying outstanding issues at another time," he said in a Twitter post, without elaborating.

The visit by the Saudi delegation, which departed Sanaa on Thursday according to two Yemeni sources, signalled movement to build on an expired U.N.-brokered truce and followed last month's deal between Saudi Arabia and Iran to restore ties.

Sources have told Reuters that the Saudi-Houthi talks were focused on a ceasefire, full reopening of Houthi-controlled ports and Sanaa airport, payment of public sector wages, rebuilding efforts, and withdrawal of foreign forces from Yemen.

STICKING POINTS
Two Yemeni sources, also speaking on condition of anonymity, said the parties could agree on an extended truce deal as they work out remaining differences.

The main sticking points include payment of civil servant salaries - which the Houthis have insisted include armed forces - using oil revenue and a timeline for foreign forces to exit the country, three sources familiar with the negotiations said.

... The conflict is widely seen as one of several proxy wars between Saudi Arabia and Iran, the region's Sunni Muslim and Shi'ite powers.

They have agreed to restore diplomatic ties severed in 2016 as Riyadh moves to manage regional tensions and to focus on economic priorities.

One of the beauties of this deal is the benefit of US$100M.+ of modern project infrastructure already in place.

Not only will this save a vast amount of money and difficulty, but will also greatly increase the speed to production.

So modern, paid-for infrastructure already in place, the oil already known to be there, and in a country with a good reputation for working with foreign O&G companies.

And the icing on the cake is that there's no purchase costs because it's not an acquisition.

A huge, company-making deal like this, from ZEN's current lowly market cap., could and should produce fireworks.

And it could well be imminent.

Some investors apparently may not believe it until it actually happens, but that's actually good news for the share price reaction afterwards, because it means that the news isn't really priced in at the moment.

Remember the new Niger–Benin Oil Pipeline, which is already over 70% built, which reflects very bullishly on Benin's O&G industry:-

1. The original plan, of a Niger-Chad pipeline, was switched to Benin because of a 'poor experience' with Chadian authorities.

2. The construction of this pipeline, which will be the longest in Africa, looks impressively fast and efficient.

And it can only help to raise the profile of ZEN's brilliant Sèmè oilfield project in Benin with O&G investors.

NWT has previously spun-out one of its subsidiaries, in a double global first involving foreign markets.

So a Grosvenor Technology spin-out from NWT, in a US float, not only makes perfect sense, but would follow an established NWT modus operandi.

Though the far greater size and growth prospects of GT compared to Vema 22 years ago, combined with the high ratings of tech businesses in the USA, mean that GT should command a far higher market cap. than Vema did.

So such a spin-out should be a key to an immediate and immense unlocking of GT's value, as well as raising useful funds to maximise the US expansion opportunity.

It was recently indicated by you Dab that this GT idea may be progressed this year, which would certainly warrant a few celebratory G&Ts!

Safetell's turnover at its point of acquisition by NWT, at the turn of the millenium, was probably somewhere in the region of c. £2M. p.a., judging from its first full year impact on NWT's results.

By 2016 this had increased to c. £14M., the large majority of this increase being organic growth.

With the decline of Safetell's traditional banking business, Safetell's revenues have since fallen back to an annualised level of about £4M. now, though this decline now seems to be reversing.

Indeed, with Safetell's planned expansion in the UK autodoor servicing market (estimated at twice the size of Safetell's traditional markets), there is scope for both a strong recovery in Safetell's revenues, and a strong increase in its proportion of recurring revenues.

An eventual return to the previous annual revenue of c. £14M. for this subsidiary looks quite possible in the long term, and indeed higher, but this time combined with higher margins and a higher rating to reflect a substantial recurring revenues element.
