£1m a week? Not sure how anyone gets to that revenue figure on c. 3.1 million therms of production a month, especially while the hedges are still in place.

The point surely is that ANGS is now showing that it can happily wash its face and then some. And that's highly encouraging.

Those of a more rational persuasion will currently be working out how much revenue a company that produces c. 3.1 million therms a month will deliver, both during and post-hedge, and both while and after paying off incurred finex liabilities.

That is excellent news and has been achieved notably faster than expected... presumably being down to RH's determination to underprivileged, then overdeliver. What a nice change.

Like others, I've given up trying to guess what news like today's would do to the ANGS, because AIM is capricious, but surely this has to be significantly positive?

My take from the RH interview is that it is set to take a whole lot longer than May 10th to get all three wells flowing via both compressors. That 10th May date seems to have been Hans Christian Lucan's final fairytale.

As RH was at pains to make clear, they simply can't get all three wells flowing while the sidetrack still isn't flowing clean gas (which exactly is why well A4 remains currently retired and inactive). Therefore in my very firm view, any PI expecting a maxed out three well/dual compressor 9.0 - 9.5 mmscfd bonanza any time soon has set themselves up for a disappointment (ably assisted by George's usual over-optimism, of course).

RH strongly indicated that maximised three well/dual compressor production is estimated to occur later this summer - and that's fine. Even at current production levels of 6-ish mmscfd from two of the three wells, I believe that ANGS's revenue generation is keeping up with already incurred liabilities of all sorts, so all that's required is patience.

UKHeaven, I don't disagree. They seem to be knocking out around 6 mmscfd at the moment from just two wells (having temporarily retired A4, while gas flow from the sidetrack cleans up)... and that should be enough to meet all obligations.

The important thing is realistic expectation setting, which is what RH was at pains to do. From what he said, flows certainly aren't going to meet Singhie's straight line projected increases by mid May - but that's okay.

Okay so there's now someone at the helm who's not in favour of spouting rose-tinted unrealities at every opportunity (and that's a simply huge relief).

But it's clear that ANGS cannot operate all three wells at full chat until the flow of gas from the sidetrack is clean - pretty much confirmed by what RH said in yesterday's interview. So given that the company's now seemingly dealing in realities rather than fairytales, what's the view on when this is likely to be achieved?

Again from what RH was saying, I reckon mid to late summer before production can be maximised.

Trouble is (or to be fair, was) that George kept telling anyone and everyone that to do so would be simple, quick and cheap. And repeatedly did so. ANGS could have done with the likes of Richard Herbert and his informed/experienced commitment to solely let actual results do the talking months and months ago. Its credibility (and I bet its SP too) would be in a much better place.

I trust that those who have spent the last 3+ years incessantly and sycophantically praising Lord Non-Delivery Lucan to the high heavens and back have now finally realised what someone who actually knows what he's talking about sounds like.

Anyhow, he's singing a very different tune nowadays, compared to his six solid months of Pied Piper inspirational cheerleading. Take a look, if you can be bothered.

OBZ, according to the last RNS, the B2 well was the star of the show at c. 3.2 mmscfd. The A4 well has been "temporarily retired" while they clean up and balance, but it was apparently producing c. 2.1 mmscfd, to give an average combined flow from those two wells alone of 5.3 mmscfd..

The most recent output figures seem to show a flow of around 6.1 mmscfd, which would seem to be the combo of B2 and the B7T sidetrack, which would tend to point to the sidetrack adding an additional c. 2.9 mmscfd (unless they've alrea

dy got well A4 plumbed back in to some extent).

SB, your wishes #2 and #3 are more than reasonable. As for #1, though 10 would of course be great, ANGS would still be fine and dandy with 8, or even 7.5. All those lower rates would mean is that there'd be less spare cash floating about over the next couple of years as hedges are met and already incurred finex liabilities are paid down.

Entirely agree, Baits. The only thing that matters is confirmation of what the consistent combined flow rate of all three wells will be - and that news is meant to be forthcoming by the end of this month.

Once that info is available, it's 5 mins work to calculate what ANGS's Sfby revenues will be while the various hedges are still in place - and what they'll be once those are over. It'd be a similar trivial exercise to work out likely payback timescales for already incurred finex liabilities.
