Break into the 40s and new highs soon...
poorly worded may i add and taken from elsewhere, my bad
next time will proof read lol
i dont usually post often and had some free time i had a phone call with Emma a on the 26th of October 2-3 weeks and update she provided me with (albeit some will be outdated):
-Environmental agency are currently reviewing the permit, they had paid for the expedited process in July but majors like Newmount, Anglo and goldfields put there applications in after and went straight to the top.
-Emma flying out to Ghana on the 5th of November now that she is aware they are reviewing it
-Geologist has come back from recent drilling campaign and they are waiting on 1 set of assays so will provide and update soon on results soon
I dont post much and admittedly the point about her flying out on the 5th was before the lockdown announcement, i know she intended to go but havent asked if she made it across.
bought some more on the weakness will continue to monitor, hopefully news coming within the next few weeks !
i thought it would dip on IPO but just powered through really. I want to get a position so im hoping for some weakness and will scale in but not sure when to do it really.. does anyone know what newsflow is to be expected?
Comes across as confident and was very helpful in answering my questions, she was the one who offered the call so cannot complain as most CEO's hide behind their emails or just provide no comms whatsoever.
She was mindful that this was a lifestyle company in the past and have an asset in which we can get into production, as in her previous job they were all focussed on production. So Bill and her are working on getting to production in the most efficient way as possible and they are just awaiting the environmental permit which is due imminently.
She highlighted that Ghana has just approved 14 mining licenses which bodes well for us, so the plan is to get into production and with the rise in gold prices obviously look to take advantage and scale up the resource. She has really ambitious targets of making this a billion dollar company which i was taken a back by but also quite like the ambition as she comes across as a straight talker. As ever time will tell as to if this ever achieves anywhere near that but i am bullish on this as i think they will do very well from here imo.
Last point - i did mention that the company should do a bit more PR and she stated that she wouldnt just do interviews at this precise moment for the sake of it and would like some meat on the bones before kicking off with a PR campaign. We have a busy H2 coming with lots exciting milestones so as they say build when its quite and buy when others are fearful and sell when others are greedy.
Happy to keep adding to this position until i achieve my target holding.
Good luck all
Havent reduced, they just been diluted due to placing hence reduction % but same holding
decent day all around, supply is getting shorter and it was becoming NT to for low amounts of stock whereas a while ago there was loads of supply.
High volume plus chart breakout bodes well, was in the teens before covid and now they have secured funding at a premium with sticky holders. I think the Risk vs Reward here is good
Todd some people are investors rather than traders and could happily sit on a position for a considerable period of time without being affected by day to day moments.
Hypothetically, if we look at how it went to 32p and came off to 22ish approx but then went to 70p.
You wouldn't laugh at a person then would you? Because they've held all the way through it?
Your style is your style and hats off to you if it works but other people aren't good traders and are better investors and vice versa
Bits on info i think are key:
- 10p placing at premium raising circa £9.5 million before expenses when price was at 5.8p (71% increase on VWAP)
-Additional drawdrown approved from HSBC for £4.5miilion
-Tasheel Group TR1 post placing - 24.2% for 60 million shares
-Lombard holding post placing - 23.1% for 57,132,090 Shares
-Adapting to Covid 19 enivronemnt by providing drive-thru and screening sites with over GBP1.1 million of revenue already secured from temporary health facilities.
-the Group received an indicative offer for a take-private transaction from a consortium of investors in mid-February which was aborted due to CV19
